I hate to rain on everyone's parade that's coming here to white-knight for caliraised now, but I posted a thread a month ago in the lighting section, with a video of the problem, asking for advice and even tagged Caliraised hoping they would chime in (they didn't). Now the situation appears to have come to an end with, in my opinion, an unsatisfactory outcome. I've even said positive things about them in this thread, despite the situation. You can call it whining all you want, but all I've done is present the facts and given them an honest review. If you're triggered by someone saying a vendor you like sucks, that's your problem.

Not to justify what happened, but this is why the "good" brands cost an absolute fortune. I doubt CaliRaised makes any of their light products in house, and the reason all yours were fucked is they were the same batch from China. Besides Baja Designs I doubt anyone makes light bars in house.

I agree 100%, but I don't go offroading at night nearly enough to justify a $1000+ light bar. We're not talking about some $20 no-name bar from ebay here, either.

Besides, the cheaper one's look just as good when I take instagram pics at the mall in broad daylight.

I recall that original post and vid now that you mentioned it. I stand corrected big time. Yes...you need a response here from CaliRaised. I've personally never purchased anything from them but simply defended an approved vendor here. We have had approved vendors "unapproved" but usually it was a very aggrieved situation like what happened with Victory 4X4. That was bad. I just pushed my reset button on this and following:thumbsup:

If Caliraisedled is trying to say a brand new bar with a rattle passes their QC standards and won’t issue a refund on a defective item, only a “return” with a restocking fee, that’s a problem. I do hope the vendor chimes in and either makes things right or provides their account of the situation. I posted my experience with their lights on the do not buy thread and will leave it at that. I’ll keep buying my $80 bars on Amazon and hope for the best.

It’s good info, that you posted a month ago while trying to get the problem resolved. That was missing from your earlier posts in this thread. And does better explain why you’re so critical now.
Unless they recently changed, Caliraised manufactures here in the US, California and Texas. Split the lighting and metal fab business.

Also manufactured in the USA: Baja Designs and Black Oak.

Yeah, I went back and looked up @helidave 's earlier postings on this. Legit gripe. I ate some humble pie. Yummy

I’m pretty positive their lights are not built in the US, but I would assume their brackets and accessories from both locations are. Their ditch light brackets worked great for me and I’ve heard their sliders are legit, minus some hardware and install instruction issues that are easily resolved with a phone call.

I’ve taken issue with some of their lack of polish on their install videos, skipping vital steps completely and not explaining things correctly, but we’ve got a good community here that helps with things like that.

Doesn't matter, you got defective stuff three times in a row, do you really think they care, maybe seeing a bad video on their product might light a fire under their butt!
Besides, I fix stuff for a living, and if you can hear a rattle, it ain't potted, simply remove some screws, take a look! It can always go back together. You can say not my job, but you keep getting bad product repeatedly, then taking grief from the clown in charge! Take a look see, it might be something so simple that you can fix it, or just move on!

It's not that I can't do that, it's that I shouldn't have to. If I wanted a light bar that I had to take apart and fix and re-seal, I could have bought an Auxbeam for a third of the price.

@Caliraisedled can jump in here and state their case when they have the opportunity. I manage forums for work myself and don’t typically get on there after hours, so we can hopefully get a response during business hours.

TW can get a bit heated at times. I think it has to do with an inferiority complex....

I had the same exact experience with their Molle Panels. Terrible install video that did not match what I had/could do, and incorrect hardware.

The vendor reviews section is to discuss positive or negative experiences with our vendors. This isn't the area for using referral codes and pointing customers to competing product(s).
