Well hey there....i surely do appreciate your keen observation! I did try to do both justice to both an intro....and....what a forum like this needs from time to time....a good story! I certainly enjoy reading them myself!

Good ol' Spanish Fort! Passed it quite a few times in my "to and from" Pensacola. Did you know that much of N. FL is considered LA too? Ha! Never heard some many "Roll Tideeeeeeee" before in my life. I was like....."Aint we in FL?" Nope.....lower Alabama. But thats ok ....because AL is OK by me. Love me some Orange Beach, Mobile, ....some of that Salt Life if you know what I mean. Would have stayed if the job opportunities where there.

Going back and forth on the Magneson SC.....see the pros and cons and it will ULTIMATELY depend on what I end up pullin behind her as far as camper and what not.....
    Definitely want to :
    - paint match the front bumper
    - black out the tail lights
    - Go probably 35x13x18
    - want to get her ridin a little higher but am self admittedly ignorant to suspensions/lifts. i like bein able to pull her inside the garage so i can't go much higher, just don't want to compromise her smooth ride feel by doing something amateurish or taking wrong advice
    - tunes....factory tunes are BARELY acceptable, need to amp up and get a decent sub for some thump
    - want to LED out ALL lights...both interior and exterior

That will be my initial WISH list for sure!

You'd think right?.....same same. The market is SO UPSIDE down.....i brought in some instant equity to the deal from my '19.....tipped the scale towards me!

No joke....and I'm sure most are hearing the chatter by now...from friends, neighbors, co-workers......dealers are paying ridiculous amounts for your used....and new is going for less in some cases. Its a straaaaaaaange thing and it will take a better part of this year and next before the market/inventory/production corrects itself.

It's true, the market is crazy for used pickup trucks right now. My 19 PRO is worth $14K more than what I paid for it. Sure hope I don't fall in love with the 2022 PRO when it's finally released.

Welcome Sir and I too came from my first truck ever with the 2018 Cement SR5 4x4. I told myself if ever I had the chance again, I would go for the TRD Pro and sure enough, my sales guy who sold me my first truck emailed and asked if I wanted to sell my truck because there's a shortage of used ones. I said if you give me a good deal then we can talk. They offered me $8,000 more for what my truck is worth, ordered me the Lunar Rock TRD Pro and my payment is even $80 less than my first truck.

Although, I did have to wait 5 months for it. Placed order in November 2020, was told that Toyota stops painting in December so I missed that month (not sure if that was true), then January came chip shortage due to warehouse in Japan burning down and then finally got built in late February and delivered and picked it up on March 2021.

Here's the LR when I picked her up from the dealer and that's the CEMENT one in the back that I traded. I thought I was going to miss the CEMENT but now I realize I won't.

Same thing happened to me last year about this time, traded my Silver 2018 SR5 on a White 2020 Pro and paid $2000 under sticker during Covid, been enjoying it, so many more features. Dealer wasn't going to have the Pro ready until the next day, so I was able to take most of my mods off so I could put them on the Pro. Even the Saleman even helped me switch out the center charging tray.IMG_8160.jpg

Certainly did…..it was a bit on the nerve racking side in that…I said YES!…..a bit on the hasty side. When all was said and done waiting on delivery, dealer couldn’t tell me if it was CM or DC, or confirm the options on the original order. They said we’re pretty sure it will have…..which really means nothing. In the end it was CM, optioned w/ bedliner, bed led lights, Nitto Rockridges, step rail(oval which I don’t like but I’ll deal), gunsafe in the console, and bedrail system.
