    Hi from Tucson.

I bought a used Tundra w 54k miles that was a lifted 2017 2x4. The driver's side sits 1" lower, so the Front Left tire drags, but ONLY in reverse and turning the wheel to the Left.

What's most likely culprit for this uneven sit and what's the best corrective measure?

    Thanks for any helpful info.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! That driver's side lean is very common among Tundras. All of the added weight seems to be on the driver's side (gas tank, etc.) Best corrective measure? Not sure unless you want to even it out with your lift.

Roger. Makes sense. Thanks for that.

Love your tagline, by the way. Biblical wisdom - tragically scarce these days...

2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
Sounds like the common ‘tundra lean’.
Driver side has more weight; battery, fuel tank, driver.
Fix is shims for the coil over. Coachbuilder sells em

The Tundra lean. It's not uncommon, especially on a lifted truck. The stock springs are usually longer on the driver side to account for this, but aftermarket lifts are symmetrical. @gosolo pointed you to the most common fix.

Thanks. I went ahead and reached out for the shims. Glad it's a simple fix. There's enough leaning Left in this country without my truck joining the madness.

Hey, I'm from THAT California, and I can assure everyone there is nothing wrong with this state that a 2 mile high tsunami or half a dozen nuclear warheads couldn't fix.

Thanks! And you're exactly right - Any news source will confirm the scarcity without even mentioning it!

:rofl::rofl: You better watch what you say on that. Although I get the impression that the vast majority on here would agree with you, the mods don't allow anything politically controversial. It's a good rule. The only controversy allowed has to be about Tundras.

Don’t forget to take your daily “constitution” before you get in your truck, this may help alleviate the lean..ha ha
