Poll: is a hotdog a sandwich or a taco?

Whole wheat bread was too much money for us growing up. We got the leftover white bread that was almost expired. Ya gotta figure they put enough crap in there that it won't mold for a good week or 2 past the expiration date.

 

But is it beef?

You guys worried about what hot dogs are made of, something just compelled me to look up how a bee actually makes honey.

I kinda wish I hadn't. At least I've never been big on honey, always a maple syrup guy.

 

I might have to rethink this.
A Philly cheesesteak is a grease soaked sub roll from heaven. But I'm not a fan of either Gino's or Pat's. Theirs are more like Steak Ums.

It's been a few years since I've been there. We used to do four corporate meetings a year, but switched to phone calls to save travel costs. Main office is in Philly, but offices in Norfolk, San Diego, Bremerton, Hawaii and Huntsville.

I have been to Steve's, good. Also John's on South street. Both much better than the famous two.

We actually have two here that are owned by a family from Philly, one's called Iggles. The real deal.

well, now you have me jonesin for a good meal, sadly have to go to orlando for anything decent.

I don't like ketchup, mustard, or honey. That's why I was shocked that all 3 combined are so good. I still prefer just the dog and the bun, but if I add anything it's those 3 together.

 

Sometimes a little road trip for a decent meal is good for the mind and soul. Specially if there's some nice back roads involved with no hurry.

 

Archaeologists have found honey in Egypt that's over 3000 years old and still edible. Pretty sure maple syrup doesn't last that long. Without bees, nothing would get pollinated. We would all "bee" dead...no beef, no crappy ass Nathan hotdogs..only cockroaches left to eat. Think about it. BTW...a chicken fillet placed between two hamburger buns doesn't make it a burger. It's a freaking chicken sandwich.

A frankfurter is what we call a hot dog here.ha! For what it's worth, I grilled some Nathan' beef dogs this past weekend. My 6 year old grandson ate two. 74 short of the record set this past weekend

 

I have no problem with bees. I actually enjoy seeing bees. I'm just not a fan of eating vomit and calling it sweet.
