Leveling kit for 35" tires?

I want to use 35" tires but dunno if I have to use a leveling kit. Help plz

 

To minimize rubbing, you are going to want to do a 3" lift (I'd recommend a replacement coilover and upper arm) and would recommend doing the body mount chop as well to help eliminate rubbing at full lock.

 

I have 35x12.50 on my stock TRD Pro. My wheels have a +25 wheel offset. No rubbing, clearances are really close though.

 

If you want to avoid the body mount chop, try to stay with max of 9 inch wide wheels with 30 or 35 mm offset (in addition to the lift).

Another option is to go with 295/70/18. They are not quite 35, but close in diameter and narrower. They will give you less problem with rubbing.

Stock Pro you will be fine as long as you do the smaller end 35"
such as a Ko2.
Stock rim. Pull some plastic guards off and maybe push a little forward.
get a good alignment by someone who knows there stuff.
This setup is very gets the front tires very close to the UCA.
Few folks I've spoke to ran this exact setup.

I went with the CB kit.

Do not put any spacers on. or you will rub all over.

I have 295/65/20s with a 20x9" wheel and +12mm offset and I rub all over overall diameter is 35.4" with my tires. Its not pretty. Need to clearance the front splash guard and bumper and body mount chop is a must.

 

I had a similar question, please help. Looking to run 285/75 18 on my TRD pro with 2 coachbuilder front shims and rear 3 inch shackles. Anyone running this, I am thinking there should be no rubbing with stock TRD wheels but please help/comment.

 

can you get away with 2.5" or 3" is the magic number ? Also if you run aftermarket wheels like the new Icons 17"

I just installed some Bilsteins at top setting and am looking at 2.50-2.75" up front now. I have new SCSSR8 18" wheels with a +25 offset waiting to install tires this week. I here most have to do a body mount Chop and I am steering clear of that but would love to put 35/12.50/18's on but most say stick with 295/70/18's.

What do you have setup wise on your Pro to run these 35's

Stock pro lift which i think is 2.5 in higher than a non-pro. I have 18" Method NVs with +25 offset. Had to pull all the mud flaps on the front and tuck the bumper liner on the inside. I been running this setup for 3 weeks and no rubbing yet. It is close though. I pull a trailor and have done some minor offroading on some trails.

Well I went in to Discount today wanting to ask about Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/70/18's, I wanted 35/12.50/18 but the guy at Discount said they wouldn't fit without chopping the mount and being that my bilstein 6112's only give me a 2.50-2.75 front lift. The new wheels are 18" and have a +25 offset!

 

What kind of bumper is that on the other guys truck in the first pic?

 

Your tires past fender about. 2 inches?

 

The guy at 4 wheel pros said the same thing. I took the chance and it fit, no chop.
