They are just envious of our faux hood scoop is all. It brings out the negative comments to make them feel better about owning a slow white tundra. :boink:@gosolo

Just starting to catch up what a FUW. I have had.
117 weather last Sunday A/C goes out. Order capacitor from repairclinic.com overnight it motor works again but no cold air. Think it needs recharge. All shops booked to the 15th.
Its like camping everyday, starting to get used to it.

    TV took a dive really.

Wife had the Tundra in Grand Canyon so been driving her Mazda 5. Going home after purchasing 200.00 in fans 6 of them for the house. Transmission light comes on, no way.

Top up tranny fluid, hope it gets rid of error code, what why not I can have dreams and wishes too. Error code solenoid bad. Ok jack up Mazda remove tranny pan 6 solenoids.

Spend 1/2 day looking for parts order what may be the right ones from Napa. For Monday.
They don't have tell me to call Mazda.

Well I am going to replace all of them it is not like I want to do this again. eBay has some refurbished I jus don't trust them on this occasion. Also they don't match.
Call Mazda 1075.00 for 6 solenoids. About fell over. Searched online found what I consider like a Sparks dealer for Mazda 668.00 plus faster delivery 714.00. They should be here by next Saturday. Have everything prepared for arrival.

Blessing I have been working so much overtime that I had a couple of bucks. Used to get super stressed out about this kind of stuff, but I think cause of my stressful job I cope better.

But like gosolo says I could be worse. You all have a good week.
Got my truck back, and new headlights, fog lights and rear taillights coming UPS by Friday as well.

Mirror caps are done and will sit to cure overnight. Many light coats with this metallic paint and pretty happy with the results. Won’t be quitting my day job, but a big improvement over my previous attempt. Probably would have been easier if I had one of the slow colors like white or lunar rock instead of metallic silver.

Well it’s my Friday. I had some catching up to do in here. Looks like you guys had some fun or were productive over the 4th.

I decided to go get my leg checked out the other day. Doc says I get to keep it..as long as it keeps healing with no infection..

Now time for my daughters practice and then hopefully some chill time over the next two days. I have been going crazy the last couple weeks on my days off. Trying not to do that much house stuff the next two days.

Hope you guys have a good rest of your week.

If you ever see a SUPER WHITE tundra in your rear view mirror, just realize you not only are not ahead, but you are about to get lapped!

I'm thinking really hard about getting a '22 4Runner Pro in Super White to replace my wife's Sequoia, she's totally on board. Sounds like it will be the last year of the bulletproof 4.0 V6

I color matched a ton of stuff on my 2008 Silver Sky - fog light surround/bezels, tailgate handle, "unibrow," interior parts. It's all about getting a good paint match to start.

Made my first trip to the gun range, since my shooting buddy passed away.

It was good to get back there again. I only live 5 minutes away, but get busy. And don't want to waste ammo these days :(

I added new, soft rubber grips today. The wooden grips that came on the GP100 match champion, hurt bad, when firing the gun.

The soft rubber grips were very comfy to fire, even with my hot 357 reloads.

I have ordered elk stag inserts that will be on the sides of the grips. The black tape is there temporarily, to hold a dowel in place, that secures the grip to the gun.

Weekend has started! First hard cider going down the hatch while I finish setting up camp in @gosolo backyard at Stub Stewart State Park for the next few nights.
