Yeah he was bleeding quite a bit which was weird because he was hooked cleanly in the lip.

Me and my son got on some stocked trout a few weeks ago. His first time really getting into them. I had him chunking night crawlers. I caught a few on a white rooster tail and then put my pole down to watch him. Seeing him get after it was genuinely just as much fun as catching them myself.

Saw the best thing ever at a boat launch today while on vacation in the outer banks. 2 guys back up to the launch with 2 kayaks in the bed. The put the kayaks in the water get in and paddle away. Left the truck on the single ramp drivers door open all the windows down and the keys in it. He came back 45min later after he remembered. Unreal!

First time going after Paddlefish and had an absolute blast. The biggest we caught were probably 60ish. The second one must have came 2-3 feet out of the water.

Nice! Luv the St. Croix Rods. Have four of them now. Almost bought one of their Customer Appreciation Days Reign Rod Combo's yesterday for $80, but would have been settling...really want a 6'0" ULF 2 piece rod. Reign Rod's are their special event Rods...think Black Friday, Customer Appreciation Day, etc. Has the same blank as the BassX but a split foam handle. They change colors every year. This year was blue.

And here is a recent catch from my fishing hole...never know what I am going to pull out.

Good day on the water. Nice fight from this 26" Drum. Made 4 strong runs burning drag:D. Took a few pics of this Hound fish. They are a nuisance and will bite your leader off. They resemble a gar, but get airborne like a tarpon. Also thanks to a aftermarket rear cam, I can look at my kayak sitting on her new perch :D. Drum was caught a leprechaun jerk shad in about 3' of water. Tight Lines !!!!!

Nice Rainbow pulled out of the Snake late this evening. Found a new spot 30min from my house. Fish was 16.5" and put up a good fight in the current. Bopped it on the head and it's bound for the smoker.
