We have a 4 car so luckily we can put em all inside. Tundra, wife's Highlander and my old work commuter plus storage for junk and tools in the unused spot.

We have 3 carport spaces (2 carports) as well as a 2 vehicle shop. I did have a garage as well but it was enclosed and turned into a man cave.

Of course none of this matters because hail only falls when we're at work and the vehicles are out in the open...... After the weather man said no storms and I didn't drive my beater Accord......

99% of the time, my Tundra and The Woman's Corolla stay outside. I'll move them inside if there's a big snowstorm or insanely cold temperatures forecasted. It's a tight squeeze though. If my truck was anything other than a 1st Gen, it wouldn't fit in there with the car.

I prefer to keep the garage open to work on projects and move stuff in and out for maintenance etc. Vehicles are tough. They can live outside.

I also have a 3 car garage but the 3rd spot only fits small sedans. Additionally, the 2 car spot won't fit my Sequoia and Tundra side by side (you can but its really tight). So I have a 3 car garage that fits one full size vehicle

I like the floor texture. If I'd clean up my garage a little better, I'd like to have something like that applied

Biggest concern in my area by far is idiots hitting it while parked on street. Common occurrence. So i’m more than happy with it in the driveway, even though it barely fits.

My wife’s Sequoia is parked on the left side of the garage. Desert toys parked on the right side. I widened the driveway to accommodate 3 cars…. So the truck has its own parking spot.

I live in a townhome with covered parking. I am the end unit, so whichever vehicle is in that stall (always mine over the last 20 years because I have trucks or some other larger vehicle). I generally do not wash or do any routine detailing of the trucks/FJ/Jeep and knock on wood they still detail nicely during their annual wash/claybar/wax. Occasionally I might run through the automatic wash at the gas station, but not all that frequently. I have yet to find a time when going to sell that any of my vehicles haven't looked great after a simple detail.

Florida garages are bullshit, so driveway. My Audi and all my misc stuff lives in the garage. I've kept 2 cars in there before, but they were shoehorned. Even with no other vehicles, the length is probably a couple inches short to fit the Tundra. Assuming this market ever cools, my next house will have a proper garage.

Mine lives in the garage alongside my wifes car. Dirt bikes go in the corners. Have to back the Tundra in and I put the passenger mirror against the tool shelves to keep it as far as possible from the wifes car door and the back bumper right against the back wall to have about 18" of space to walk around the front of it.

I'll never understand why people would rather keep $500 dollars worth of junk in the garage while their $32,000 vehicle rots out in the weather.

I have a double garage that is long but narrow, so fitting 2 cars is tight. But my wife hates parking in a garage, she hit the middle divider between the doors 3 times in our rav4. At the time it was our nicest vehicle so I wanted it inside the garage, but then I bought my Tundra and she easily agreed to park outside while the Tundra goes in the garage. And the other spot is my motorcycle which gets the space all to itself. Works great

If you bought a 2020 1794 Tundra and your live in girlfriend drove a 2003 Sequoia with 285k miles, with room for one car in the garage. You own the house BTW. Would you be an a$$ for putting the $50k truck in the garage and leaving the $3000 suv outside? You have an alternate vehicle to use daily as well. Curious on your thoughts...

In order to leave your car somewhere and protect it from rain or sun, we have a lot of cool solutions. Some people like the protection they feel when they build a full garage. I know several people who have bought a retractable garage that they can take with them on trips and leave their car there. I prefer to build a cantilever carport that definitely protects the car from the sun and rain. Plus, such a carport is a great place for barbecue parties. I built a very large carport with the services of an Australian company. I purposely made it long so that it could fit two or three cars, so I could barbecue with my family on rainy days, you know. It's cozy.

My truck lives outside because whoever built this subdivision made the garages just a little bit too short.

I have two cars in the garage but once I register mine and start driving it again, it's going to live on the street so my truck can stay on the driveway. That will also open up room in the garage for storage.
