    A lot of people have done this on Tacoma’s. Anyone try this on a tundra?

    After doing some investigating I see it doesn't work with power fold mirrors.

    Might be a good looking modification with the new Diode Dynamic SS1. I might pop the mirror cap off my truck and see how much room is in there!

    Correct. Seems the power module takes up that real estate. Tundra mirrors are larger so might work with a different placement

    yep, I like the idea of the flush mount if there is enough flat/non-curved space on the cap.

    Here’s a close up of my 2nd Gen. mirror. I’d be willing to bet that you could do a flush mount SS1 or SS2 assuming there is enough room behind the cap.

    there should be a lot of room back there since there isn’t turn signal to deal with. Help with wiring also

    Seat covers, dash mat, ext. Trans. Cooler, sumo springs, oem pwr fld tow mirrors
    If anyone attempted this and destroyed their mirrors and wants to replace black mirror, pm me and if we can settle on a price you can get my take offs, brand new, maybe 6 miles on them.
