It took me a year and a half to notice the OEM jack and spare tire kit was missing in my used 2017 Tundra. I called the local dealer and was quoted $275 to replace it. Can you guys offer some suggestions for a roadside jack? I believe I will need a minimum height extension of 20". (Standard truck height; no lift) I'm pretty sure I can cut a tool on the CNC table to lower the spare with.

    Function before sparkle.
Not sure where you are located, but if you are in the USA you may be able to find a military surplus Hummer H1 scissor jack. Well made, lots of reach and quite stable.

I have looked into this one. The 15.375" lifting range is what worries me about it.

I use this one. Tractor Supply carries it. Free one year warranty, or you can buy a second year for $10. If you leave it in the bed though, it’ll get rusty and need replacement. And it’s much larger than the Jack space in your truck.

+1 also considering to compliment my hi lift, factory, and 12T bottle. Waiting until I get my bed cover finished up. Different jacks have different uses. Been loaded before with junk jack and a flat, not good to call a wrecker in a rural area over a flat tire.

The oem one is probably reliable if I could find a similar one for real cheap. It’s a bottle jack but non hydraulic.

A solid piece of 4X6 would be a nice to have too.

I was just going to post it doesn't hurt to have a few blocks in your rig, jack base, and wheel chocking too!
