I don't know any Mercedes people unfortunately or else I would. There are a lot of older ones around LA though, there might be some shops that could help but shipping gets expensive.

Can you increase it up to 250+ hp with a turbo or would that have to be an engine swap?

This motor is already built but I don't know the horsepower. The guy who built it estimated around 170hp. Im considering building a milder motor for this car to daily it.

my sister works as the assistant to the owner at a Nissan/Mitsubishi dealer and I had to meet her to drop something off last week. I pulled in and about 4 sales folks were coming towards me until they saw her coming. Then they walked away.

They're all a little scared of her. I was disappointed I didn't get to laugh at them when they wanted to sell me a Titan.

 

On my day off if I run in to get tools I’m hounded by salesmen about my truck.

Helped a buddy of mine in college do a 120hp motor swap in a Karman Ghia edition convertible bug he owned after his motor overheated. Cool car. Fun times.

 

Got my ass whooped more than once for hitting my sisters too hard when playing slug bug !

On the way home, I got an invite from my sis to go camp in the mountains. Couldn't turn that down.
