Had the worst hard water spots on all my glass and nothing I had in the garage would remove them. :( Was just about to order something from Chemical Guys when I remembered an old trick I heard about, a Lemon. Didn't really think it was going to work, but much to my surprise, it did an amazing job. After giving the glass a good cleaning, use a half Lemon and rub down the window while slightly squeezing out the juice, at first you will feel a slight resistance between the Lemon and the glass, and then after awhile the resistance goes away and feels really slippery. Hose off, dry with a good Micro, and you're done. Hope this helps. :)

Lemon juice has enough acidity to etch marble, so this makes sense!

Thanks for the heads up. There's so much product out there that claims to remove hard water, seems like a crapshoot picking one.

I’m going to have to try this on my Sequoia. It came with really bad spots on the glass. No amount of clay bar, vinegar or anything else in my arsenal would touch it. Kind of gave up because it wasn’t on my tundra LOL Haven’t tried barkeepers friend, but I do have a lemon tree. Going to give this a shot the next time I give it a bath.

    That IE water is harsh.

Thats a good tip, sometimes my windows get that too and you're right, nothing I tried works. White vinegar might but I hate the smell.

I soaked a rag in white vinegar and laid it on the glass, let it sit there for a good while, it did nothing! LOL Everything but the spots was really clean! It was my SIL‘s Sequoia. Rarely got a proper bath and probably got hit by sprinklers in front of her condo daily. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was reclaimed water.
