    Lots of shenanigans.
Can anyone who is running these in their double cab please post some pics!? I’m debating on these or WKOR.

I can get a really good deal on RCI and like how it is 100% bolt on but unsure how far it will protect my truck.

I love how far that the WKOR protects but the price is significantly more.

No can’t help with what you asked for but wanted to give you another 100% bolt on HEAVY DUTY option

LOVE my P&P engineering sliders on my DC - pricey but worth the $$$-got them thru a group buy on here

you can choose full plate / 1/2 plate (mine) or no plates at all

Thanks! Seems like the standard for companies is to have the sliders protect from wheel to wheel

yes pretty much - gives you full protection and they make a great step to reach into front of bed

RCI isn’t quite wheel to wheel. Here’s mine. 7972FA20-0F13-4460-BF5D-173346C82EAF.jpg

How're you liking it? Did you have RCI powdercoat it?

I like em. Yes had them PC, seems like a good job but only have had them 2 months. They’re solid af and actually had a couple holes on either side match up with predrilled holes in the frame. Was gonna drill my own but wasn’t necessary. Reason I went with the over WKOR was the group buy made em 300$ cheaper. No regrets.

How many bolts were you able to bolt on? Looking back do you wished you drilled the additional holes out?

There were a couple on either side that threaded into the frame that seemed like bonus, was prepared to drill but totally unnecessary IMO. If those wouldn’t have lined up I would’ve drilled a couple each side. But that’s just me. They were totally solid before those “extra” 2 that threaded into frame.

My wife bought me RCI skids for Christmas. Really impressed with their quality, and
got their sliders. Love em. The kickout is great for standing on to reach stuff in the bed.

I bought my wkor when they were still in the $880 range. I hadn't even received them yet when I noticed the prices had increased on their website. I work in metal fabrication myself and material prices are crazy right now. I'm not sure that companies will lower product cost, but word on the streets from my suppliers are prices will deflate a lot in the 4th quarter. Metal prices are really that inflated right now. In regards to WKOR this is my second set, loved the ones on my LX470 decided to go with them again for the Tundra.

So do you recommend holding off for a couple of months?

When I started my thread on the rock slider suggestions, I was also thinking about one that didn’t require drilling. But tbh, WKOR was the only one that was recommended for wheel to wheel protection.

Lots went with other, but said if they had the chance to, WKOR would be their #1 choice.

Honestly, everything is up in price right now and it’ll be a long while before it stabilizes. If you can wait it out, do it, but if you need it, then I’d say bite the bullet!

    Buy once cry once.

I'm not in retail offroad parts so I really don't know. My guess is once they are at a higher price they probably won't go back to a lower even if material cost drops. I manufacture greenhouses, like for plants, so our prices fluctuate with the cost of materials both up and down.

Haha, well tbh its a birthday gift to myself. I am gonna call WKOR tomorrow and see if they think that if prices will stabilize soon. If not then I'll prob pull the trigger soon.
