It is an education problem. I was never taught any of this in school. The further we move from the natural world the harder it will get to understand and observe how these things work.

 

Speaking of plastics, does this look healthy to you?

 

I wonder how much more it would have cost to make that out of aluminum? Mine has some of those cracks too.

 

That plastic is reaching the end of it's useful lifespan. Throw it in the ocean.

Carbon dioxide is a gas consisting of one part carbon and two parts oxygen. It is one of the most important gases on the earth because plants use it to produce carbohydrates in a process called photosynthesis. Since humans and animals depend on plants for food, photosynthesis is necessary for the survival of life on earth.

No. It began when Locals (Chief Has Eagle Eye) noticed it bubbling on the ground and used it on his boat to be the first Polluter. Actually, its Earths fault for bubbling to the surface and creating Natural Tar Pits and stuff.

Yes, but then everything would be outrageously priced and everyone would be buying 2nd hand items. Much like in the past but before my time.

I can't see that happening in a world where everyone has to keep up with the Joneses. Maybe make manufacturers more responsible for single use plastics aka their garbage footprint?

 

Someone will trip the fall eventually. I just hope i get to see it.

 

Hey, we need that plastic garbage footprint. There's these two androgynous hunky surfer dudes who collect it with natives on small boats and make really dope dolphin bracelets, I seen the commercials. Reminds me of the 70s commercial with the Native American (actor was actually Italian) in the canoe with a tear in his eye. I support cottage industry and don't want to put them out of business. Yay plastic!

Picked up something for a friend who has been in the hospital a few weeks. This should keep him busy and laughing.

Kinda want one myself but I have no time for coloring books.

 

I think this model does work. Consider products designed to last and to upgrade.

Do we really ever need more than one washing machine? We should get those as a wedding gift and never need another one for the rest of our lives.

What would you do if you had an extra $1k in the bank? I like to think that if people didn't have to spend all their hard earned cash on new cars and TVs and dishwashers over the course of 50 years they might do something good with that money in the end of their life. Maybe donate it to a park or something. They may also use it to add functionality to their life instead of replacing something they already had.
