Lifting a 2020 tu dra that has all safty gadgets

I'm wanting to lift my 2020 tu dra limited. Toyota was going to lift it so I can keep all my warranties..just found out if I lift it more then 3 in all my safty gadgets won't work such as lane departure auto braking rear cross traffic alert and some other stuff... has anyone else run into this issue . Seems 2020 got more bells and whistles added then the 18 19 models

Completely false. 2020 has the same safety features that 18 and 19 have. I’ve had my lifted 18 for nearly 3 years now with zero issues.

 

What kits did yall use amd tire combo. I'm just going by what the tech said and I've known him for about 5 yrs ..this is what he was told . Did any of the features have to be reset ? I was told anything over 3 in everything would have to be reset

 

Not to knock Toyota techs that have actual knowledge, but 99% of them have no idea what they’re talking about outside of a brochure. Lift your truck and carry on.

 

I have an 18 with a 7" lift and all of my TSS works.

 

I am on Toytec Alumas, Toytec shackles setbat 1.5, 1/2 inch rear axle shims, and 285/70/18's (34's). Nothing had to be reset. Lift it, align it, and have fun.

same, have over 40k miles lifted on my 18, perfectly fine

 

Depends on the trim, the 2019 TRD Pro had none of the safety issues, but the 2020 does.

 

Sounds to me like Toyota is covering their own ass, and rightly so. All the goodies will probably work fine like everyone has said, but since they probably were not designed specifically to work with more than a 3" lift, I imagine its a liability issue.

 

See thats the thing they saidno more then 3inches but I want to find someone that's done a 4.5 in lift and has 20in rims ... see if all there tss stuff works with no issues

 

My 2020 has a 6” lift and has all the safety gadgets. I adjusted the sensitivity of the lane keep, and haven’t experienced and issues at all.

 

Your setup looks AMAZING! What size tire/rim package do you have?

I have 20" 35x12.50s and all is good.

The only issue I've ever heard of is that if you don't keep your factory rake that it might mess with the TSS sensors, but I do not have any first hand knowledge. Mine sits higher in the back.
