What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Sick truck and I believe that's the cleanest bmc I've ever seen!

 

Today and over the weekend I installed the transmission cooler kit (which went way easier than I was thinking), here in the south I was getting 220F in stop and go traffic, now I'm running between 180 and 210 depending on how heavy I am on the gas. If traffic is smooth at highway speeds I'm running on the 185 range, do huge drop in temps and I love that.

I also installed the front and rear Valhalla cat plates with my TRD pro skid and what a b***h it was, honestly it was way more of a PITA than the cooler...and I never want to take them off bc of that.... however my sliders are due to come in a few weeks.

Lastly, I put on my Wet Okele seat covers and they look ok, install frustration was in between the cat plates and the cooler, lol. They don't look even half as cool as katskinz, but they should do the job.

Oh yeah I will mention I adjusted the color so it lined up after I took this picture.

 

I had the wet Okele seat cover in my f-250. They were ok like you said. To me they didn’t fit as nice as I was expecting for the price.

 

Exactly, if I would have known that I would have just saved up for Katskinz.... So it goes.

 

But they were holding up good though. Weren’t showing any signs of wear after 2 years. I sold the truck with them on

 

Had the Westcott Designs front lift kit installed today, replacing the Coachbuilder shims I’ve been running for a while. It’s pretty cool how much lift you can get from the Pro coilovers with this approach:

 

@FancyPants I know it's a drive but the guys at 88Rotors in Socal do a nice BMC.

 

I've never had them before, but they look like a good fit in the pictures. I've seen much worse.

 

definitely would be a crazy far drive for just a BMC. There are lots of shops in my area that are qualified to do it. Everyone I’ve talked to is about a month out though. Busy building rock crawlers this time of year. So I think I’ll try to sweet talk my Dad (who owns an Auto Body Shop) to help me with it.

 

Did the Viofo A119 dashcam with the USB mirror power adapter. So much easier to leave all at the mirror.

Nice! Where from? Do you know if they are compatible with touch unlock? Really not a fan of the mat black handles, they pick up dust like crazy.

 

After dinner tonight, the wife approves of starting my suspension and rubber upgrade next Feb! We’re expecting soon so money is going towards my little boy, but man am I excited!!!

 

I’m not sure if they are compatible. I do not have that feature, and neither do these handles.

 

After several 2k mile long trips and in preparation for my upcoming 6k mile trip, I decided to install some seat jackers. Tested them out briefly tonight. They're pricy but the seat feels so much better with that slight lift.

 

Went to the Thunder Hill raceway (Willows Ca) over the weekend, forecast was 111 for Saturday and 109 for Sunday. As you can see I sleep in my Tepui RTT. Not fun to sleep in that kind of heat. So I rigged up my home AC unit. Built a cardboard tunnel with duct tape, then added 2 hose's that I bought from Home Depot. Then connected to duct hoses, ran 1 hose to the left window of the tent and 1 to the right. Worked like a charm, I slept like a baby! Extreme heat called for extreme creativity!!!

All of those charges were nuts. The dealership wanted to charge me $750.00 to pull the XREAS off my 2004 4Runner. It takes about 1.5 hours (on a bad day).

 

Rear has an Icon expansion pack. I think the pic might give a poor perspective of it, because it’s definitely not nose high. I’ll see if I can get a better profile shot today.

 

Did you pull dimensions from Center off hub to fender opening when parked level?

 

Yep, it’s sitting a half inch higher in the rear. I might eventually add a CB +1 shackle but this setup will work great for now.

After a 53 day wait for some new rear shocks, I decided to cancel with that company and go back to 4WP. New Fox 2.0 should be here Tuesday! Wooohoo

 

Congrats on finding a new head unit in stock! I’m looking for a similar Kenwood unit and it’s been out of stock everywhere for months.
