    What killed my hitch imo was the suspension travel. When you hit a large dip in the road at speed those 900# plus cargo and people push the suspension to the bump stops. Moving the suspension on the truck down this far really loads up the WD bars. This load translates to torque on the hitch. When I got home my hitch was pointed up by about three degrees. Since the hitch and the bumper are one, my bumper was a mess as well.

    Air bags will prevent that excessive suspension travel. Liftrite has some great information on their website about using weight distribution to compensate for soft suspension.

    Smooth flat roads are not the problem. I believe Colorado and the Rockies are what got me. The roads out there have a lot more undulations to them.

    I noticed how soft the rear end is just towing my 5x10 atv trailer with only my foreman on the trailer and nothing in the bed. Just my son and I in the front, 475 lbs. Trailer is 600 and atv is 600. The trailer dealer said to put 2/3 of the weight on the front. I hauled a couple loads of rock, 1.5 tons, so 3600 lbs including the trailer. The truck was squatting pretty good. I only had to go about seven miles with no downhill. No way would I try that, no trailer brakes. My trailer has a 3500 lb. Axle, but Colorado has a 2000 lb limit without brakes. That's a good law, as the grades out here could get you in trouble real quick. I've got air bags now, but haven't towed with them yet. I still won't be hauling over the limitations of the brakeless trailer.

    We bought our Ollie used, 2015 Oliver Legacy Elite II Hull # 075, from a retired couple in MO. The manufacturer is located in Howenwald TN, they don't have dealers in the lower 48, but there has been talk about having a Canadian dealer.

    You're welcome to look at our Ollie, we're close to Denver NC, about 25 miles North of CLT. Our Ollie weighs in about 4950 pounds with empty water tanks. The Tundra handles the Ollie easily and gets about 13MPG on interstates in the NC & TN mountains keeping the speed under 65MPH and cruise control off.

    Oliver is also having a Rally for owners and folks interested during May, close to Howenwald TN. They have additional information about the rally on the Oliver Forum in the events section. Other types of campers are welcome to the Rally, too.

    Yes it's a great tent. I believe I did a review of the tent on here. Look up the name. But yea it's holding up. Will be taking my son out again this summer in it.

    No, most likely not. The bed of the tent is the truck bed so test it out.
    It fits a Fits a queen size air mattress between the wheel wells (barely). So you can use that as a determination as well.

    After many many years of tent camping my better half said enough! I don't really blame her. So now we're looking for an RV of sorts so we can get a good nights sleep. She's leaning towards a trailer but I'm thinking camper so I can tow the 4Runner and my son's sandrail sometimes. She's agreeable as long as she's comfortable. So I'm wanting something like this:IMG_1214.jpgIMG_1217.jpgAnd she likes this because she can stand up in it. They're all custom made to your specs. IMG_1219.jpgI'm not sure about having something so high profile in windy conditions. The campers themselves are either .030 or .040 gauge aluminum. Anyone have any experience with these types of shells? Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

    Nice! I bought a used Oasis 26DB this spring. Took a 1400+mi trip over a long Memorial Day weekend. Aside from some nasty cross winds and a few hills it pulled like a dream. I didn't like the 9-10 mpg though :(
