What does this number reference

Hi All! Can someone tell me what the number on this part references? I have found a used part with same part number but the number in the box is different. Please see photo. Sorry its a little blurry it was difficult to snap the pic because of where the part is located on the steering column. Thanks!

 

That could just be a date code for production.

 

Most likely date code. The part number covers a variety of years so it should work for you.

 

Being the Power Tilt and Power Telescopic control module I thought maybe it has something to do with the key transponder.
But after looking at wiring schematics there doesn't seem to be any connection between the 2.
Looks like every one of these parts I could find pictured had a different number..

Make sure your seller offers returns just in case it doesn't work...

 

The part number does cover a wide range of years so it should work for him.
