I finally got the dash, steering wheel, and all molding back in place. Thanks for all of you that helped with quick answers when I got stuck along the way!
    :fistbump:

While I was at it, I added the mic that came with the Kenwood stereo I installed a while back, so I can have the option of hands free shouting into a phone, over my old truck and mud tires….

I made the pilgrimage to the local dealership for some ws. My dealership has this weird ability to make me angry every time I ask the what something costs.

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday only after a 2 hour wait for them to finish my timing/drive belt and water pump the total was about 120 less than what they had originally quoted me at. They also informed me that my slow leak is indeed from rear main seal and camshaft seals, but not fast enough to be of concern for a while. Guess I’ll continue to monitor at oil change intervals:D

I don't feel sufficiently educated in the pros and cons of the switch yet. I have one drain and fill that my mechanic did over the winter. I had him use WS. There are a few random stories of poor shifting ect after a switch. I suspect that it is probably user error but I never know. I have decision fatigue so I got some WS. I needed to get something going with all the towing I have done this year. I am headed to the hardware store to build your refill setup the next time I find a few free hours.

I am open to switching so feel free to educate me. Longevity is my #1 concern.

When the sequoias rear trans seal started leaking i switched to castrol transmax import.

really slowed the leak. Havent had to add any all year.

It's been a bit since I posted, decided to just get 5100's set on the 4th notch at the front, stock springs. Also decided on 265/75/16 bfg's instead of 285. Kept the stock enkei rims. I'm very happy with the way it looks and rides. No rubs or anything. I do still need to install the uca and lbjs. Hope the pic shows up. At my local cafe after some mountain biking.

If you still have the stock sway bar links keep an eye on them as the extra spring preload from the 4th notch will put more stress on them.

Lil Steve thanks for letting me know I'll keep an eye out for those, what would be better to replace them with after market ones?

Today I performed the annual (semi-annual) ritual of the truck wash. Old beast still looks pretty good from 15ft.

It's mostly Bed-liner in a can with some random plasti-dipped bits. The bumpers have been blacked out for a couple of years with bed-liner in a can. A few rock chips, but otherwise have held up really well. Mirror caps are also bed-liner. Side trim is also bed-liner. Grill sadly is left over from the plasti-dip era and is in need of attention. Mucho peeling occurring.

I'm not sure its still at it's finest, but most of it's hanging there. Got some fade going on

There are a few of us that got lucky. Mine was only rusty where the frame has the brace in back.

I like how it looks after a fluid film wipe.
