Hello All, I am new to this forum. The Am2 fuse on my 2010 Tundra is blowing everytime I try to start my truck. At first all I did was change the Am2 fuse. It was good for 1 day. After that it seems to be blowing everytime (AM2 ). I have changed the Starter Relay as recommended. It still blows fuses. I have no dash lights, no crank when trying to start. Any help figuring out this would be greatly appreciated. I really prefer not to bring it to the dealer.

I’m going to guess that the starter motor is grounded.

I have the same issue on my 2012 Tundra. The started was changed by the dealer about a year ago.

    Good morning from Guam, USA

We figured out the problem with my tundra. I decided to take a look at the engine bay and noticed that aftermarket KNFilter ( came w/truck when I purchased ) came loose and had been chafing the wire loom on the passenger side. Removing the filter completely I saw a green wire that had been chafed by the filter. I applied some liquid tape and wrapped with electrical tape as well. Truck started right up and has been starting without any further issues. If you experience the same problem look for any wires for the start system that may have been chafed.

Lol ok...I'm averaging 13-14.5 here in the states so I would've imagined 10-12 driving up and down Marine Dr.

Might move on island so if it happens, I'll have to ship my truck.

i just had the same issue after they installed a viper remote start. No dash lights would not crank and shifter locked. All power was there battery was good. Changed both fuses and it started right up. Still working in the remote start waiting to see whats going to happen.
