Morimoto Tails... When will Tundras have availability?

Do you have a new truck? Just yesterday I saw that my truck has a cracked passenger taillight and it only has 1600 miles on it. No idea how it happened or why it was so quick.

 

YES I do! I swap the Hirev tails last night and noticed both side were cracked, I have a long crack on passenger side on the top and the mounts on the inside broke off, it was like a fish tank when raining, then on passenger's side there's also a crack at the bottom, there were clearly no puncture or evidence of things being hit, I never carry more than 500-600lbs of stuff in the bed.

Toyota so far has declined warranty claim on them.

 

Here's a pic of what mine looks like. No damages or scratches anywhere and I can't feel any outside damage at the crack so I don't think it was from a rock while driving...my dealer also said it wasn't covered.

 

Mine is like this, also on passenger side.

 

Man, hurry up Morimoto!

Crazy... We're in to a new model and they are still selling Chevy tail lights.

 

Maybe I'm having a moment, but what is Q3?

 

Hoping more for info than a release. Just so we know if we like the style, or if we can move on.

 

I mean, if a photo ended up on reddit somewhere, there's no way they could link it to you.

 

It's rediculous. It's a set of F'n lights, not a whole damn redesigned vehicle. The last update from Morimoto was a June release.

 

Who knows. There is enough of us here interested in them. I wonder how the sales are so far on the 4Runner tails that they released. I didn't like them at all.

 

Similar thing happened with the headlights, and the wait was even longer after the picture. Hopefully they've gone the opposite and are withholding details until very close to release

 

I forgot what we are waiting for LOL. I just checked and this whole thing started in Nov. 2020. Hopefully these things are some bad ass lights man. I guess mean while off to other mods

 

Add a name to the waiting list. Just bought a Tundra. The guy I bought it from made a bunch of mods and these tails would be my next logical step.

WTF...2 weeks ago they said June. Here is the reply to my email. Even the 4Runner has them. @Headlight Revolution....what the hell happened?

 

Guess HiRev is about to get a bunch of customers, hope they can keep up with all the likely orders

I've been biting my tongue for a minute now on this topic, but I can 100% confirm there WILL be a taillight option coming for the 14+ Tundras from Morimoto. Not sure why the email is stating there are not any tails coming down the pipeline for these trucks, I have seen the renders personally! I would disregard that email from Morimoto, not sure what is going on there. Will do some digging for y'all and will report back.
