Wheels/Tires and a B.S. "lift" as of 3/5/21. More to come because I can't not F with nice things
To start things off, I have had a rough time trying to find accurate/updated info on this topic. I am making this thread to try and cut down on the confusion and keep things a bit more straight forward while still learning myself along the way. I couldn’t find a good thread for this topic but please feel free to let me know if I missed it.

    The Project:

    Put a used TRD supercharger (TVS1900) off a 2011 Sequoia (3UR-FE) on a 2015 Flex Fuel Tundra (3UR-FBE).

First off, I am going through to make sure I have all the correct parts and needed parts for install. Here is what I am lacking or questioning thus far. Please help if you can.

Intake Manifold Gasket (002-19575) from SCOL

    Intake Manifold 6 point/12mm/3/8" Drive U-Joint Socket
    Toyota recommends Craftsmen 43203
I went with Tekton. I will confirm the works once I get there
    ProSpeed Tundra Catch Can System
Thanks to @Drootz, I have been looking at some of their stuff
Is this legit? Seems far fetch but can't see them going through the trouble for it to be worthless
ProSpeed RCF Throttle Body Adapter Kit
Still need to research this... Any insight would be great
    ProSpeed CAI
    $650?! but... I think I am sold
Updated Coupler Kit (001-19019) from SCOL. I spoke with one of their guys and he suggested this.
    Seem correct?
Eaton Syn SC Oil (00160550) from SCOL
    Correct stuff?
    Quantity?
    8 rib belt #PTR30-34070 Amazon $45

Intake Inlet Bellows for TRD intake missing
    Magnuson sells theirs individually
I also have a Denso 1951 Fuel Pump with the kit
This is not needed with the flex fuel version
I recently had my fuel pump replaced with an updated version (770200C120) due to past known issues according to Toyota . PO171 PO174
I also have a Denso 23250 Fuel Injectors from the Sequoia
    Appear to be correct

Once everything is sourced and installed, I plan to go with a local dyno shop (Turbo Lab, SLC) using HP tunes. Talking with them, this takes all the learning curve and guess work out of it. They take your truck, purchase credits from HP for you, and use their professionals to tune properly on a dyno. Not once, in all the “programing” threads I read about this topic did I hear this suggested. For me, why would I want to learn how to program and deal with all the confusion when I can drop it off at a reputable shop that does this all day long. And this is coming from someone that VERY rarely pays for anyone to do anything..

I will keep you all posted on the outcome and thanks for any help

Not sure if you have all the parts, but I have been thinking of getting a supercharger myself.

In my brief look into getting a supercharger, I have seen nothing but good things about prospeedautosports.com they seem to do a lot of tundra supercharger installs and sell a variety of accessories for them. I am sure they would be able to tell you if those are all the parts you need.

Did this work out? I have a FF Sequoia and am looking for a path to SC eventually.

I have been putting this off due to the parts list growing to make it legit but... if you're good to spend roughly $6,000+ on top of the SC, this is what would be ideal and what I plan on. After talking to them, this will allow you to build as you want later and also give you the safest power increases there seem to be. Sounds like they wont even go much over 500hp without the fuel system. Once you have the fuel system set up, they will increase within reason, at your request based on your setup.
Side note; and could just be them upselling but they also mentioned that the TRD/Magnuson advertised 505 or 550, is very unrealistic and anything over that without these modifications will cause major damage. Not sure if anyone on here has a clean dyno or not to see.

    https://www.prospeedautosports.com/...roducts/prospeed-tundra-remote-tuning-service
Last I checked it was around $2500 for remote tuning... if you do any modifications after the fact, they will do updates at more prorated price as well.

    https://www.prospeedautosports.com/...ra-fuel-system-package?variant=36758912106662
This is what will allow you to expand now or later. $2600

Just makes sense for me. I don't love the TRD setup but you don't have to run this.

Check out their IG or give them a call. The Tundra posts on builds they have done will blow you mind with the RWHP they are getting. Can't wait to do mine but keep me posted if you get to it before I do.

Thanks! I doubt I'll get there first, I have not bought any SC related item. I do have a HP tune that has tuned flex out but would need a new SC tune. I am glad to see it's possible, every vendor I have reached out to has said No flex. Have you identified parts needed because of flex or is that just them covering their butts saying there are flex specific hardware differences?

    Thanks!

Skip the Prospeed intake. The Magnuson box setup is far better in many ways. Most importantly keeping IAT temps down. I have the prospeed catch can I think its fine. No need for the larger TB option either. Ours is good for over 600. Fuel wise I recommend larger pumps and injectors. Tuning wise overland tailor tuning is great and much more cost effective. My rig hauls ass for 7klbs and 37s

As far as a "TRD Flash", Toyota never made one for the FFV variation so they do not support it. As for HP, I assume it is more that the the tune is from scratch and there isn't an easy button but I am not 100%. I have a local shop that says they have experience with HP and 3UR-FBE's but I am scared to drop it off there... as far as what parts are different on the 3UR-FBE, it seems the major ones that are different, get changed out with higher flow injectors and a pump that come with the SC anyways so it's irrelevant other than the the tune. This is again, my assumption.

I do wish I could just get a basic tune (like the TRD flash) for mine and be done for now. maybe upgrade to prospeed later.

Good to know and thanks for the added info. with my TRD SC, you don't think I would need the prospeed fuel rail then? i already have a fuel pump and injectors that come with the TRD setup. again, just curious because I would like to get it on asap with a good, safe tune. Even it is around the original 505hp

Nope. I've got the TRD Blower and stock rails. The stock rails are good and not restriction point until much later. I would upgrade that fuel pump just for a better buffer. That pump is only 10% more than stock. Peace of mind. Get yourself the walbro 450. Also, have Overland Tailor do the tuning.
