To add to this. Fuel leaking by overnight does not cause the hard starts. The flooded intake situation has all night for those heavy vapors to be vacuumed into the charcoal canister.

The result is normal starts the 1st of the day.

This really only occurs if you are doing wide open pulls.

I can't remember the last time I hit 4k rpms.

Tbh I don’t know if I’m hearing anything. I don’t have a garage and my neighbors play cumbia till 1 am so I might be screwed on that one. I’m sitting down next to the gas tank and I don’t hear anything.

If their drum circle is to noisy and you have a amp clamp with min/max; maybe you could find the power wire to the pump, clamp it with the key on(same procedure) and come back and see if the max amp reading has spiked?

That’s smart thinking, Toast. I’ll see if it quiets down in a bit first to avoid extra work :notsure: Got kids playing basketball, straight piped civics going by, and probably like 2 different parties going on in my block. Haha it’s bad

If your using a clamp does it matter?
I know I have dc amp testing abilities thru the probes. But my clamp only reads when it’s clicked to one position

Yeah, my fluke won't do DC amps, nor will my klein.

So I looked my fieldpiece up(HS36) it’s mainly a HVAC meter, so it only does micro amps DC (for thermopiles, thermocouples and such)
