exhoust melting Mud rear mud Flaps

    I have a 2018 Tundra and I just replaced a rear mud flap and it is already Melted. any suggestions?

    post a picture of your tailpipe/flap area. maybe your exhaust pipe is not adjusted correctly and is too close to the flap

    Mine has a little burn mark. I think it actually hits it when I go faster. Or it’s from going off road and the flap getting pushed back into the exhaust momentarily. Doesn’t bother me though.

    And this is the tiny burn mark.E5FC44E3-06C0-4A51-9A69-D9B5645775B0.jpg You could probably fix it by adding some rigidity to the mudflap. I’ve been in some really Highwinds while towing. I could imagine it would easily kiss the exhaust tip. Or as I said, while doing a little off-road. Curious how bad the OP‘s is

    The exhaust tip is only adjustable up and down if you loosen the flange in front of the axle.
