    High APR for financing?

Well fuck Toyota then, they can keep their damn trucks in that case. I haven’t bought a vehicle over 0.0% APR in 16 years, and I’m not going to start now.

You paid for that 0% rate with higher prices. I took the higher rate because I had a low % of the cost in loan and the discount for cash made it a lot cheaper for me with the higher rate. Don't mistake 0% for 0 cost. It's a shell game.

I didn’t pay anywhere near MSRP for any of my 0.0% APR vehicle purchases.

guess they could have put them on the bottom of the grille or on the bumper so people wouldnt say its a raptor rip off.

"its OFFICIAL, 2022 Tundra!! Here's leaked shots of the Pro I saw today!! Definitely my new tow rig!! Whos ready to have a 12,500lb tow rating & 460+hp? Want 30mpg w/a 400hp hybrid option? Toyota has that as well! Looks like I'm also getting a full size!! Lexus's twin turbo is going in! 2022 Tundra!!! I'm excited for the TRDPro model. This is most resembles the hybrid model w/ 30mpg from the LS500h sedan. Underpinning the new truck will be Toyota’s new F1 architecture shared with the next-generation Tacoma and Sequoia full-size SUV. This bodes well for a roomier, yet higher-quality cabin with a plethora of technology and amenities. If the latest Highlander is anything to go by, expect a 12.3-in touch-screen incorporating Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, 4G Wi-Fi connect. Reportedly the new Tundra will utilize a version of the ever-present in the Lexus brand, hybrid 3.5-litre V6, and a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 under the ‘I-Force Max’ banner with the latter pumping out 450 horsepower (335 kilowatts). Whether these hybrid engines will supplement or entirely replace the current 4.6-litre and 5.7-litre normally aspirated V8 units offered in the current truck, remains unknown. However, we find it difficult for Toyota not to offer at least one V8 option for traditional pickup truck consumers. Lexus’ twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 hybrid unit may find its way into the 2020 Tundra
Power should be fed to the rear wheels (or optionally, all four) via a possible six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmissions. The truck will have coil spring rear and air suspension options, as well as dynamic torque vectoring with multi-terrain and trail modes for those who regularly go off the beaten track."

I agree, but if the MSRP is set in the range C&D then there is at least hope for reasonable prices ones the current madness simmers down.

Funny to see so many cast judgment, and form an opinion on purchasing, one way or the other, based on fuzzy, low rez, badly angled shots off a monitor that's displaying someone's cell-phone shot taken from another monitor. It's a little like rendering an opinion on the red head across the bar, seen through the smoky haze, three beers deep. Is she hot or not? We can't tell yet. Let's have another beer and wait until she sits beside us, probably next week now that all the dealer principals have seen it.

Well that paragraph is a load of shit. :rofl:He says 460+ hp for the normal ttv6 and then further down says only 450hp. He also says the “current” 4.6L v8 which hasn’t been offered in 2-3 years.

It's from a salesman. Most of them know less about what they're selling than the buyer already knows.

    So the designers are ricers?

Let me be clear my problem isn’t with their vehicles but how Toyota advertises and styles them. They can add all the crap they want to a Camry but under it all it’s still a stock Camry and will not be fun nor thrilling.

So I was curious and couldn't help myself. Found specifically in DOT documentation that for a vehicle in this >=80" width category that the three amber lights have to be "As close as practicable to the top of the vehicle,...". It may have even been a stretch to get them as low as the top of the grill. I image if the current location and the top of the cab are the only options, many would prefer the top of the grill. Based on this documentation I don't think any lower would be legal.
