Well, whatta' ya' think? I raised the back 2" and the front 2 3/8" for a slightly raked lift (Rough Country) with 275/70/18 Falken Wildpeaks (1" taller than stock/same width/10-ply). Here's the thing: it drives like a D-R-E-A-M, corners well, rolls straight as an A-R-R-O-W down the road, no vibrations at any speed, yeaaaaaaaah!:bananadance:

Color-matched fender flares: yes, or no?

I'm getting a chrome bull bar (WITH LIGHTS!), so that's settled. :amen:

Give me feedback on the flares: I've always liked the 'clean' look, but this truck might need some. :monocle:

Nice rig. My vote is no on the flairs. If you really want flairs I would consider the slim OEM flairs or those low profile pocket flairs some people run (and color match either option).

I vote no on the flairs. Mud is the best protection from the sun and the rocks.

Anyone have wheels like these on their SSM tundra? Have an opportunity to get them for a good deal and just haven’t seen many silver tundras with bronze wheels.

I have never been a fan of paying a crap load of money for a truck then fly down a gravel road with large tires and have everything scratch of the paint, just my opinion. These pics are from almost 2 years ago…

Speaking of large tires, what size are those. Your truck looks great.

Very nice...we've got a SSM Limited and I would love a Platinum honeycomb grill and silver surround and hood bump...then onto bumper, winch, and suspension upgrades followed by wheels & tires...of course...lol

Add me to the no flares vote as well. I cringe when I hear gravel pop but no way on the flares. Ruins the look.

I had +18 tires on my 2018 Tundra and never had a problem with rocks coming up on the sides of the truck [and I drove plenty of dirt roads]: little chips and pieces of 1" rock (or smaller) or the worst for getting in the tread; however, the tread that sticks out past the edge of the fender is not deep enough to easily retain a stone. No problem.

I like the low-profile fender flare idea ... :monocle:

The limited color matched grill looks the best imo. Don't get me wrong the TRD looks good, but I like the the honeycomb. That's what I went with and don't regret it at all.

I'm currently running the old style TRD Pro grill but I have this one in a box.
I may switch back to the honeycomb grill once I get settled back in SoCal.

Pretty sure you mean the 2018+ platinum grille, not the limited. Limited is chrome bars across. Either way, I agree that the honeycomb is my preference as well. I'm going to order the ssm platinum grille soon. The honeycomb part is more black than the SR5 grille too I believe.
