How are you guys storing your towels? I am up for any detailing storage ideas but I really need to figure something out for my microfiber so I can get it out of the house.

I keep my PFM drying towels hung up, my all purpose clean rags in a box on the shelf, and dirty all purpose towels go in a bag that hangs from a shelving unit.

Not as elegant as the picture, but works.

I keep all towels in a big plastic bin with a lid. Keeps everything in one place, easily to access, and clean and dry.

I was gonna say thats impressive! If I saw that I would sneak in a bottle of McGuire's just to see how long it takes to be noticed.

I have been hang drying and hiding my two drying towels just in the garage under a small moving blanket. I need a better routine myself.

That is a seriously clean and organized setup. It looks like you have multiple walls. Rolling?

I have bins that I fold everything up and lay them in the bin. Lids keep crap off them. Dirty ones I have in the laundry room in a bag.

I store mine in several totes. (1 for just paint towels, which is the largest one lol, one for glass and one labelled "shitty microfibre" for rims and such.

Meguiars 205 and 7 transformed my single step paint. I am happy to have those bottles on shelf. I wonder if black is single coat paint....

My discovery of microfiber drying towels was the final straw for me to start this thread. What are you using?

I bought two of the microfiber drying towels from Harbor Freight, $5.99 each. At first I could dry my whole truck without wringing it out once. Now I have to do it half way through, I might try putting them in the washer to see if it restores the absorption. I have a feeling they pick up wax and it limits how effective they are.

This is kinda the staging area. No garage so I gotta make due with the space I have.

Griots PFM is the king of drying towels. They are expensive....but some things are expensive because they are worth it

They gave them away with fathers day orders. I have one in the package. I am pretty satisfied with my current drying towels but I'm excited to give griots a shot. I think the next time I get to a harbor freight I will try their drying towel.

Once you try the Griots PFM you won’t look back. It’s one of those products that completely outclasses its competitors.

I have a bag of old t shirts I use in the shop. As far as detailing that’s what the rain is for. Really caked on…then find a puddle.

The inexpensive microfiber cloths that I use for bird do-do and bugs are folded and left on a shelf in my garage.

The good ones that I only use for paint are in industrial grade ziplock bags. Then I put those bags inside a locking detailing buckets…this way the kids or wife can’t “accidentally” use those.
