Anyone notice the wheel well trims and top of the tailgate have a forged carbon fiber look if you look closely. The black in the bumper too77933D4A-6241-4731-A98A-73160D69A4FA.jpg Screen Shot 2021-06-17 at 12.49.56 PM.jpg 61ewRIjjFsL._SL1000_.jpg

More plastic, more profit. Probably has plastic front fenders too.

I’m not sure what to think of it yet. But I definitely don’t like the tailgate. Reminds me of a Chevy Avalanche. Ugly.

I did the same going to Alaska. It's just noisy. Engine is durable just gutless. I raced my father's tundra CM 4X4 vs my taco extended cab long bed and be most walked off and left me. Both from a dog and a roll on. My mom's camry hybrid also left me. Now my tundra? Raced that same camry the other day and totally destroyed it so I assume it I ran it against the Tacoma it wouldn't even come close

Overall I think it looks alright. That tailgate though… too much black plastic or whatever up top. Makes it look cheap, but these are pretty bad pictures. I think the front looks fine. I don’t need a pro so looking forward to see what the SR5 looks like. I will be getting rid of my 2018 Tacoma for this sometime next year.

For me it doesn’t need to be best in class HP or torque or payload or etc. just give me a bit better fuel economy than the current Tundra and I’ll be happy.

The top of the tailgate takes a beating so plastic here makes more sense than thin metal that will scratch and dent like crazy.

Hmmmm...there's a lot going on there. I don't love it on the whole but there are parts I like. First reactions are usually poor, so I imagine it will grow on me in time.

Most curious to see MSRP on the new Pro. My gut is that's going to be like a $65k truck said and done excluding mark ups, etc.

The side view looks badass- even better than the RAM.
To me the worst front end in all trucks is the F150. Even worse than the Chevy.

My thoughts exactly.....also the tailgate stamping is very obnoxious. Hopefully these pics aren't the actual end results as far as the exterior.

So no real gap on the front bumper lower portion. Interesting, considering the bumper has been frame mounted to date on previous gens. If there is a gap its so small that it wouldnt allow for any frame flex without rubbing on the other portions. Even the fender flares run down the lower bumper portion making the bumper and fender seem to be one piece.

Perhaps the front end is a single piece bumper now, which will make modifying it a pain, as well as produce aftermarket bumpers similar to the current gen Taco, IE mostly crap.

Also, love  the rear tailgate spoiler with running lights typically reserved for wide track trucks like the raptor. These obviously in the center of the tailgate so the truck could be assumed to not actually be wide enough to require them and are there purely for "aesthetic" reasons.

I may be wrong but I think it’s much more than drivetrain, I believed it’s basically a rebadged BMW.

Yep. I'm not one to sell high and buy high which is nuts, but my 14's value has gone up considerably so I re-fi'd today for a much lower interest rate with the same amount of payments left and saving $167 per month:thumbsup:

I plan on paying cash. I've been saving $96.72 per week since the last Tundra model reveal. I'll have just enough to scrape by.
