Anyone dealt with this? It’s hot as hell in Dallas and this looks to be the result of post-golf sweat and/or sunscreen. Sweat and oil more likely. It’ll go away when it cools off in the cab, but when I get in and it’s been sitting in the heat this thing is beaming. Tried armor all wipe, cleansing wipe, etc.

Try a good leather cleaner. That oil will be hard to penetrate with any regular cleaner. One of our detail guru's hopefully will chime in:thumbsup:

In the meantime, I would try some dawn soap, it should break down them oil's. Just a thought

Best cleaner for interior is just a drop of car wash soap and your choice of degreaser, mixed with water. I put mine in a bucket and soak a rag then ring out really good.... Degreaser cleans everything and the car wash soap leaves wax behind for protection, armorall is horrible for a vehicle.....by the way, i owned a total of 5 detail shops for a long time

Trying a small dab of DeGreaser dish soap on a rag. Wiped it clean with another slightly wet rag and dried. Will see if it can cure my greasy ass skin. Thanks guys

What did you end up using for this? I’ve tried leather cleaner and dawn mixed with warm water, still comes back.

And it’s June, which means it’s hot… so the stain is back. It never shows up in cold weather just when the truck sits out in the heat. Looks terrible

Try Smart Wax leather cleaner. Love the way that stuff works. Cleaned my old boat once with it which had white interior and made it white white again. I use it on my Tundra every 6 months or so. Currently using chemical guys spray leather cleaner and that stuff works nice to.

Mine does that here in South Loozyana during the 11-1/2 months of summer we have also. I just use my leather cleaner/conditioner that I use on the seats. It goes away for a short time, then returns upon sweaty arm touching it. I got greasy azz skin also, so I just keep driving. I used to keep a towel on the center console, then the arm didn't touch it. Have since stopped.

Try an all purpose cleaner, diluted 10:1. If that doesn’t work, beef up the dilution.

Formula 409 or full strength simple green, both are good for grease removal.

Did you ever try a Leather Cleaner? Multiple options from cheapest to more expensive, Lexol, Griots Garage (my preference), all the way up to something like Dr. Beasleys. These are all designed to work on automotive leathers.

Make sure to follow the instructions and put a leather protectant on afterwards. Usually the companies sell a protectant along with a cleaner.

    Good luck!

Another option might be to stain the whole damn thing so it will all match.

I stained mine from having a fresh coat of deet bug repellent on, and from I've read, nothing will get rid of it. But I don't have a show truck, I have an adventure truck! It's now a reminder of a great hiking trip I had

Use "303 Aerospace Protectant". You can have it delivered via Amazon. One of the best products I ever used. Makes interior material and dark plastic looking new without the greasy feel. I use it on the armrest all the time along with the door panels that mark up easy. You can also dilute it with a bit of water if you want.

I know it’s to late now or maybe not. I bought a neoprene cover for my new 21 Pro. Because with my arm or my wife’s arm leaning on it with sunscreen it marks the interior.

I've been pretty amazed at what Tuff Stuff all-purpose cleaner will clean when others fail. It is a strong base cleaner as opposed to acidic. Worth a try and not very expensive. Smells good too. I use it a lot on interior stains and stuff that is ground in. I've even used it to remove makeup and lipstick my wife got on the headliner and visor. It hasn't failed me and hasn't ever damaged anything. If I use it on leather, I retreat the leather with a protectant after.
