I was headed home from work today, stopped at a stop light and all of the sudden, a large tree branch fell on the passenger side hood of the truck. Thought I was taking incoming for a brief moment.

The tree branch left a behind a bunch of stains and discolored marks. How do I get them off? What should I use?

Does not appear to be any dents but i'll look again tomorrow in better lighting.

Start with something mild, like a quick detailer on a microfiber and see where that gets you. If you still have any residue, a mild polish should get it off for you.

This. I’ve also had good luck with some simple Maguires or mMothers cleaner wax. Especially on white or lighter paint. Claybar can work well too. But I’ve had better luck with stains and cleaner wax.

Shake it up real good, hopefully it’s the cleaner stuff not just standard wax.
