I have been involved in a lot of litigation in this state. It wouldn't get me anything at this point to take them to court. It would cost a bundle just to put up a retainer. I will just be glad to have the title, that is if they actually delivered it.

I already did that. The investigator said that he is looking into it but I won't hold my breath. I have the feeling he is more of a bureaucrat than an investigator. I am calling the county this morning to see if they received it yesterday.

I called the criminal investigator that was assigned my case yesterday. He said he would call the boss of one of the guys taht kept giving me the run around at the dealership. I got a call about two hours later saying that a state investigator had called about the title and that the title would be in a UPS Next Day envelope that day and that I would have it the next day. After all that hassle they sent me a packet with a bill of sale, the Certificate of Origin, a check for the county tax (that I paid when I bought the truck), an application for title and a receipt for the state sales tax. All that hassle for one check and four pieces of paper. It is about time. Now I can get plates and start ordering stuff to build this truck.
