Chrome Delete Covers for Tundra Bumpers - BumperShellz

I did black TPO on mine. The picture makes it look like the covers are darker, but it’s a pretty good match. If you are looking for it, you can tell my center valance is a little faded, but it’s really not noticeable in person.

I ordered the silver bumper covers, hood bulge and grille surround from ecoological about 3 weeks ago. It’s an option but you have to find the link in one of the pages on this thread or click the far right tab on their website and it will give you the option if it’s still available.

Edit. Just checked. It’s still showing available.

go to their website, click “more” and click on Toyota OEM color matched overlays, click the first option for the overlays for grille/hood bulge and select silver. Says they have 5 left.

 

I see lots of the white. How close is the gloss black to paint code 202?

 

I ordered a silver hood bulge from sparks and also the pro grille from sparks. However, since the pro was never made in silver, I had to order the grille with a black surround and have it painted. Think my local body shop charged me around $150.

 

Somewhat unrelated but what offset wheels are those ? I have methods in the plus 18 config. and they stick out. Yours look to be flush but it could be camera magic with the angle. If they are flush what model and offset are they ? Thanks !

Hey all, as you can see in the picture I have the bumper covers already but am trying to decide between purchasing the surround and hood bulge in either white or black. I'm concerned (based on comments here) that the white does not match up well. That being said, does anyone here have the Texured Black TPO or the Matte Black installed? Which one matches better with the black plastic at the bottom of the grill? Thanks....

Hey Guys! Wanted to post quick before I take off for the weekend to give an update. Our 3 OEM colors are molding really well. Surface quality looks like the best paint job you've every seen. Everyone should see them start to arrive late next week or early the week after. We've taken the time while we waited on our material to do something special with the front covers, but I'll post more details on that next week. Have a good weekend everyone!

(Note on the picture: Black specks on parts are just debris from the CNC machine, and the "fuzzy" stuff around the edges is the peel from the protective film. Not a great picture. I just wanted to throw something up before I left.)

 

Awesome! Checked in with Leti from your team and she responded right away saying shipping got bumped up a week so that was awesome to hear! Can’t wait for my complete set of front/back and grille/hood bulge!

Finally got it painted and installed.
FYI, I ended up sand blasting the chrome grill and upper hood piece just to roughen up enough for prime and paint. We will see how long they last.
So it's a nice thought-out well made work I say. I can tell on how the curvature is matching the factory bumpers. The only down side I gotta say is the fog light access. I used to be able to just pull out the black housing then take out the fog lights to do whatever I got. With the shell, since the opening is not 100% aligned (almost tho), I can see I will have to access it from the inner fender. No biggie tho.
Overall, very satisfied.

Installed TPO front and back Bumpershellz today. Happy with the results. Next step is grill. Thinking about doing full replace, but looking at options for the TSS sensor cover.

Finally had some free time and space in the booth today to get my grill and hood bulge painted.

threw in a fender, door And hood for a 4runner as well.

 

I ordered both front and rear MGM bumper caps on May 5th and just received my shipping notification. I can't wait to install them. No more chrome after this..

 

So how well do the TPO caps match the center black bumper piece? Looks great btw

 

You can almost smell the paint fumes. Can't get enough of that! That paint job is liquid. So good. I'll post some money shots of our parts to compete lol

 

BTW, I think all BumperShellz have officially shipped today! I'll post some teaser pics of the Front BumperShellz V2 tomorrow that you'll be getting. You guys have no idea haha. You're going to love them. Grilles are shipping separately in that larger box tomorrow and Monday, so keep an eye out for that if you ordered the full thing.

 

I would say it is a 95% match. I’m pretty picky but honestly this is very close and I am happy with it.

So kind of new here in the aspect of my last hundred was a sport so I didn't have to do any Chrome delete. But I'm getting an army green off-road and I've already ordered the bulge along with the pro grill with the green surround the only thing I need now is the front bumper caps. Now do you guys make the front bumper caps in green?
