Congrats! Where in Texas? I originally had one on order in Irving, and just hoping it came to be.

 

Just outside Galveston.

 

Just cleaned it up from my vacation all week in OBX.

 

this was from couple hours ago after a thunderstorm.

Is it me or is the headlights bit.......... lacking? even at high beam the throw is not as far as the 4runner's and definitely not as far as Ram's LED.

Compared to my 2008, the headlights in mine are a dream…

 

I think the tundra led headlights are better than my 2020 4runner Pro. Also great pic.

 

Maybe its another covid quality item, like the dash, low beam is fine but country driving at night is not as good as I hoped.

Do you guys know what fogs upgrade I can get to drop in the factory spot? Trying to spot those raccoons

 

I plan on adding the 42 inch light bar. I had one on my Tacoma and 4Runner. I think that would be a great upgrade to go with the Rigid fog lights and led headlights. I’m leaning towards the amber again.

 

I'm a little disappointed in the headlights as well. They aren't bad or anything, but I just expected more out of them the first time I drove it at night. Might sneak a light bar in somewhere in the future as well.

 

You know that the angle can be adjusted, right?

 

Yeah I do not sure anyone else knows. I think the headlights are fine.

 

Saw a fellow lunar rock tundra crew max heading south on i5 around 11:00am north of Eugene while I was heading north. That was my first sighting in the wild. Was that anyone from this group? It had gold wheels.

 

My truck pooped out a little baby Lunar Rock (RAV4) while running errands today.



I’ve seen a few other Lunar Rocks in the area, but no other Tundras. Always give a little head nod but haven’t received any back.

My wife had to run to the house today while I was on the neighbor’s roof. As she was driving back to the driveway I thought “goddam that’s a sweet truck!”

 

Just found a LR TRD Pro with 5200 miles. We agreed 48k for it (Private Party). Feel like it's a incredible deal.

 

Wow! Given today's market, this is a steal!

 

If I end up not getting it for some reason I'll be happy to pass along the info to somebody else who might want it.

It’s worth buying and selling to a dealer if you don’t end up keeping it. I had a dealer offer me 60k for mine.

If I can find another one below or even at MSRP, I’m selling mine, keeping the new truck and some profit.

 

Yea my plan honestly is to just flip it to a dealer for a profit.

 

If it seems too good to be true… it probably is.

I would take a hard look and try to get a carfax for sure. Seems fishy in today’s market!

 

Bought locally and serviced in town. Also checked carfax. 1 owner. No accidents. Seller wants to move it fast bc he's buying a Ram TRX.

 

He must not know what he has?

Apparently doesn't understand the current market. If he's buying a TRX, that's a perfect opportunity to trade in.

 

FCA dealers LOVE to lowball, you can bring them a widebody hellcat that's fresh off the showroom and they say "best I can do is 39k", Toyota gave me the highest trade in value for my Rebel, I was ready to get another Ram (powerwagon) and the dealer I got the Rebel from gave me 5k below what Toyota gave.

Edit: Well fellas, the last of this gen is due to roll off in October, it also seems the lunar rock will stop couple months before that.

 

Got the new shoes put on today and it’s lookin great with the westcott lift!
