My 2003 creaks whenever I turn the steering wheel, and it has become increasingly louder. This sound seems to go away temporarily when it rains, so I’m wondering if it isn’t a lubrication issue? Any tips would be appreciated!

Mine was from the skid plate. I am running an aftermarket RCI but it’s also common with the TRD skid plate. Specifically where it mounts to the crossmember behind the oil pan. Solution was some rubber washers on the bolts. I made my own out of some 8th inch industrial rubber. But you can source something similar like toilet tank to bowl bolts washers. Start by taking off your skid plate and see if the noise goes away. Even if you have a standard skid plate

I’m just glad I caught it before I became a statistic. The Mr. blonde actually came from Adam @TXRailRoadBandit73 Named me that because he said I looked like Michael Madsen in reservoir dogs lol

100% agree with ball joints, previous owner replaced drivers side with something with a zerk fitting (probably moog) lubed it and noise is gone......probably going to replace that LBJ real soon. You could check for play and let it ride.....or replace it and have some peace of mind.
