None, don’t know where to start.
Saw this post on FB. “Those of you with Kings are you on 2.5inch or 3inch? I heard 2.5 is the sweet spot but I'm thinking of doing 3inch. Does it really make a difference in ride quality?” can someone please answer, would like to know as well. Kings are one of the brands I’m actually considering but being that I’m new to this have no clue what he’s asking or talking about.

The higher you adjust the collar(higher equals more height, lower equals less height), the more preload you add to the spring. The amount of preload added to the spring to gain the 1/2” isn’t worth the reduction in ride quality. You can always add a shim on top of the assembly to gain the extra 1/2” if 3” is your goal.

Might need to be a bit more clear in the question as the answers will vary and wont all relate to the same thing.

I read 2.5" vs 3" as shock body. There will be a greater ride difference in a 3" bodied King than a 2.5", than there will be in a 2.5" bodied King being preset to 3" of lift rather than a 2.5"...

Adding .25" of preload on the typical King 600# spring wont really add much of a noticeable change in ride quality, if any at all.

I dropped my 650# Eibach springs by a total on .33" on the DS and .5" on the PS and noticed no improvement in ride.
