    Regret the BFGs. Never again.

Why change your fluids so often?

Nevermind. I just saw your detailed answer. Seems like a valid reason. As my daughter lies to say, "you do YOU, man."

I loved them on my Tacoma. Smooth ride and wore evenly despite my lackluster rotation schedule (basically none). They had 50k on them with plenty of tread remaining when I sold the truck.

I had Terra Grapplers that were junk. The OEM BFG Ruffed Trail were fine, despite their "Rugged Fail" nickname at Tacomaworld.

I've only had Cooper tires of any kind on my wife's Explorer. They were OK but didn't last very long.

Curious why you regret them. I don’t have them on my Tundra but love them on my Jeep. Maybe the weight of the Tundra causes the soft rubber to wear faster or unevenly???

Ive run bfg At’s many many times. They seem great until they get a couple years old and they have zero wet traction

I have had 3 or 4 sets of BFG ATs over the years but only the one set on the Tundra so take this as my opinion.

    1. Road noise is higher than similar AT tires.
    2. Poor and uneven wearing - I will be shocked if I get 50,000 km (~30k miles) out of them. Plus they are hard to balance right.
    3. Winter commuting the traction is unreliable. There is a fine line between ok and all over the place which makes them less predictable. For me, tires above all need to be predictable in the winter.
    4. On the trails any sort of mud (and I know they are not mud tires - I have owned those in the past) completely slick up the tire. The lugs just don’t release even when spun.
    5. They love to hold stones.
    6. I prefer a slightly stiffer sidewall.
Bottom line is BFG ATs are a good looking tire but their tread design is very aged. Design technology has increased substantially and the competition has leapfrogged them.

I will likely go back to Cooper. The STT MAXX was the best tire I have owned. Second was the BFG Mud Terrain but that’s a tire with a different purpose.

Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to see how these tires do in the coming winter

Buying my first Tundra when the prices are through the friggin roof. I paid 30k for a 2015 TSS CM with 100k miles on it. I should've bought one sooner!

I regret not buying a Tundra sooner. And I might regret not having a bigger gas tank.

My biggest regret was leasing a 2020 model instead of just buying it in the first place. However it sort of worked out. My 2020 was black and was the first black vehicle I ever owned. I will NEVER own a black vehicle again, my OCD can handle trying to keep it clean. I turned the 20' in and bought a 21' in super white. So I guess I regret not buying a super white 20' in the first place. Other than that I'm happy with the model I have, SR5 crewmax w/ TRD O/R package.

My one regret might be the Big Brake kit, time will tell. So far, I don't feel a difference, just looks good.

Only regret is buying the cargo divider at the dealership. I thought Id use it but its always in the way and now its just sitting in the garage. I could have used that money for something more "fun".

I bought cheap plastic letter inserts for the "TRD Pro" bed stamping. Would have been better off lighting $33 on fire. The good ones are $200 and I can't justify that.

Other than that my biggest regret is the abysmal gas mileage and the trash audio system.

Upgrading my head unit, wish I would have went up one more notch(or not at all)the glare I can’t see it while driving, wasted money IMO.

What kind of brake kit is it? Considering an upgrade, hard to justify though. More research is needed before I jump on it.
