    +1 on the seat jackers!

The limited seats are very firm and the leather is stiff. After about 3,000 miles and some leather conditioner they have softened somewhat and I feel like I’m sinking into the cushion a little more.

If they are different/better inside, then I will be kicking myself for not grabbing one of thise models.

Those look nice (especially in black). Will they fit in the Tundra?

Anyone know if a Tacoma seat will fit in the Tundra without modification?

I don’t really have any issue with my seats, other than I might install some Katzkin. However, I’m a little on the shorter side and wish my left arm was a little higher when I’m resting it on the door as I drive. Would the seat jackers help with that at all or do they just add more height to the front?

I am on my 8th Tundra and can’t recall being uncomfortable in any of the. I am 69, 6’ tall and 205#s and my last 2 Platinum’s seats, although a little flat on the bottom cushion, have been comfortable for long distances. But I will say our recent Mazda6 Signature had the most comfortable seats I have had in a car…and I have owned 69 cars over the years.

Anyone else feel like the seat leans right, toward the center console? Feels like the right side of my ass needs to be higher. Wonder if I could shim that side with a few washers…

You sure could and it could literally not be any easier unless you have someone else do it for you.

So I’ve been daily driving the Tundra since April with the headrest spun around backwards. The seat has become tolerable but I still find myself more uncomfortable than I like. It is a little better than before though. I think the headrest was pushing my head forward and thus stressing my spine all the way down to the point I was feeling discomfort in my back. I would still like completely different seats….or the brand new tundra with a much improved interior…:D

On my last Tundra and my current I also felt like the headrest was pushing my head and neck too much forward so I just reversed it and put in some steel/rubber shims to adjust the height where I wanted. No issues since.

Im on my 4th Tundra and find the leather very firm, stiff and uncomfortable. However, they are very durable.

I couldn't take it after a while cause my hips would be in pain on long trips so I downgraded to a Trd Off Road which is night and day in terms of comfort and I'm never going back. I can't stand Toyota's leather but most are opposite.

After reading this thread, I have to wonder.......do most vehicles on the road have this same controversy on seat comfort?

Interestingly for me I find the seats in my Limited very comfortable, in fact prior to my Tundra I had been having some upper leg issues when driving longer distances (maybe +1 hour) with my last couple of vehicles. I do think having the power adjustments for height (front and rear) has most to do with it, my previous vehicles didn't have as many adjustment options.

Maybe I'm in rare company, but I really like the seats in my Tundra.

I also hear the Platinum and 1794 seats are different than the limited… they both have power thigh support, maybe that helps…
This is my first Tundra so I have no other point of reference… I only test drove and then bought the Platinums

Questions come up a lot about the differences between the seats on the 2.5 gen. I'll break it down here...

The seat frames are all the same. For the foam cushions, there are basically three versions: standard, heated, heated/cooled. And then there are different coverings (cloth, leather, perforated leather, TRD Pro, etc.). So fundamentally, the seats are all shaped basically the same. But due to some feature differences, you may prefer one over another.

I will say that to me, at least in the Platinum, it feels like there is not enough support along the middle of the back section. It's almost as if the seat back is shaped too much like _) instead of _/ or _(.

I've been super happy with the seats in my 1794. Drove it on trips for many hours at a time this summer and was really impressed with the comfort. For me, the cushion extender/thigh support is key. I have this now in all 3 of my cars and I find it to be a total game changer for me, as I have long legs.

Yes. They only change the angle of the seat, not the shape or fitment (obviously). My issue is with the shape of the seatback.

Let them break in. If you can’t wait on that, get some cushions you can attach to the top. Really not worth swapping truck brands just for seat styles

21 SR5 with cloth seats works well for me especially with the lumbar adjust.
