When you detail your truck and polish the wheels are you giving it a rim job?

Have you ever seen a chicken get it's head chopped off? They don't run around, they fly around. My dad would tie a rope to a leg so he wouldn't have to send me up a tree to retrieve our dinner.

I've noticed that the phrase reaching out is being used a lot lately. Even on the news. What's everyone reaching for? People used to just say"I'll call him"

That is something I can do without seeing. A chicken with no head flying up in a tree. Then you got to go get it. Then a couple hours later it is on the table. Chicken for dinner anyone?

I can't stand it when someone says "so at the end of the day" :annoyed:

Or when someone younger than you calls you son? makes me wanna just biotch slap them.

The worst one is uhhhhh when someone is transitioning thoughts and of courses "to be honest with ya." I think when a person cannot process something in their mind, they think shit up and use the old "to be honest wid ya" :annoyed::annoyed:

Thoroughly dislike the word "repurpose." Where the heck did that come from? Makes me want to repurpose their mush-filled skull.

As a British native that came here not too long ago... the stereotype that we say "bloody" is kinda false. I remember saying it when i was in my early teens... I think that was the last time.

You're right about tea though... don't f*** with my tea. Don't give me any of the american tea bullcrap either from some hippy dippy shop or some other crap made with flowers and fairy dust.

English. Tea. One flavor, one variety, don't f*** with it.

To bring this back on track though... "wanker" for some reason, american's think this is a great english word and throw it about with no comprehension of what it means... the number of times people put on their best english accent and try the phrase "hello there wanker..." Try that in my home town and you'll get thrown through a 'bloody' window.

Most Americans love the British and English accents. And Australian too. People over there don't love the American accent, do they?

Well.... I originally moved here for a cute blonde with a southern accent if that tells you anything?

I'm sure if she had a Yankee accent, I'd still be in England ;-)

*full disclosure, Wife 2.0 is not the aforementioned blonde*
