Our school switched to gmail when i was a senior in 2005. I made my ?yahoo? Account before kids werent allowed to pick their own screennames, so the address transferred over. I dont check it or my answering machine.

I'll see your 2005 gmail and raise you a 1998 @excite.com email when I was in college.

Is anybody doing anything fun this weekend?

I will be kayaking down the first national river and camping nearby.

I get to work on my dad's Volvo, wash all 3 of our cars, and change the oil in the 911 and the Tundra.
At least it's ~90degrees and super humid.
    #fun

EDIT: I will likely not do any of the work on my own junk. I may mow the yard.

Going to my sister in laws new house to cover the acoustic ceiling with mud, or whatever is used to do that. Should be fun right?

After that I'll be relocating some red bark crap and digging about a dozen cement pier blocks from her backyard where a deck used to be. Don’t want her daughters running around and tripping on one. Then I will level the dirt and put the bark crap back.

Her husband will hopefully be asleep the whole time. This is the guy famous for his towel rack repair and toilet of unbelievable state.

We decided last night (night before?) that our MTB trip in July has been officially moved to Snowshoe in WV. Lift access instead of me huffing and puffing up fire roads.

Have you been to Trestle? If so can you compare the two? We usually go at the end of August after school has started.

Just to confirm you don't have to go to the baby shower right?

Where was the original planned? Lift/shuttle access for vacation (and July) is the way to go. We have a couple within and hour and a half of here.

    Original plan was Roanoke, VA.
I've never done lift/shuttle before. I've always had to chug up the hills, so I'm looking forward to this in a big way. (Mid 40s, carrying an extra 30lbs, and July heat is a perfect recipe for a bad time if I have to pedal up the hills/mountains.)

Too busy with work unfortunately. Other than getting to the gym, putting on my creeper wheels on and hitting up a couple places for froyo to see if anything replaces TCBY around here, I won’t be doing much. Gf is already busy with some family thing this weekend. #MostPatheticWeekend

Of Course I did! none of this AWD b.s. ! one wheel up front and rear always be spinning! to @Tundra2 point about staying TOY, at least I stayed JDM! I would gladly take a manual 1st gen rav4.

We have a manual trans Element with the real-time 4wd. Won't win any beauty contests but we love that thing. It has been very good in snow and rain storms, perfect for runs to the beach as well. My only complaint is the seats aren't good for long trips, the CR-V might have better seats.

Make sure to pay attention to your valves. Ours had badly adjusted valves on #2 and a valve got damaged. I'm not sure if it was caked with carbon or if a guide got damaged but I couldn't stop it from misfiring. Swapped a low miles motor and its like a new car again.
