Seriously does Toyota use insanely weak windshields? My wife has 3 chips on her Highlander and I have 2 on my 5 month old Tundra. Not a huge deal I just never had so many chips on my other trucks

What, the windshield cowl, or that I ordered one?
Yes its a thing, no I didn't really order one.
We're all just ribbing the OP.

@CJoseph, you made the wise decision to buy a Tundra, so we'll just chalk this up to mod-fever and move on.
If you need any advice or help this is the place to be.
Welcome and congrats on the new truck!

I thought it meant angry bumper, I’d be angry after buying it, but it’s a grill, winch, bumper combination.

Again, I don’t think these things look good individually, but if you go all out they tie together and can look ok. More of show to me.

Luckily they don't make the ViCowl for the Tundra, but if I had a Jeep I'd definitely consider a grumper.
It actually makes sense if you want to run a winch and have max approach angle and max front end protection.
I probably wouldn't put one on a daily driven commuter Jeep, but on a dedicated off-road vehicle its pretty sweet.

It's that newer-ish Yota glass. Super weak. My cousin was eating chik fil a lounging in a 2016 Lexus LX passenger seat. His socked foot (no shoe) lightly pressed against the windshield and the glass fractured like it was hit by an 80mph baseball.

Ah fab four, they have some interesting builds.

I kinda dig the F250 they built, but I'm afraid I'd use the word "bro" very frequently during conversations.

I think its actual purpose is to catch fallen leaves and other biological debris, to further insulate the cab.. plus, where else on these trucks do you suggest the birds build their nests??

By the time you add all that totally useless weight you might be able to carry a dozen donuts without exceeding load limit......

Doesn't this violate windshield obstructions laws?

New Jersey prohibits windshield obstructions under 39:3-74 : "No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sign, poster, sticker or other non-transparent material upon the front windshield, wings, deflectors, side shields, corner lights adjoining windshield or front side windows of such vehicle other than a certificate or other article required to be so displayed by statute or by regulations of the commissioner. No person shall drive any vehicle so constructed, equipped or loaded as to unduly interfere with the driver's vision to the front and to the sides.".[6]

Examples of violations include items hanging from the rear view mirror such as religious objects, fuzzy dice, air fresheners, or electronic devices.[7] Electronic toll collection equipment such as E-ZPass transponders can also be considered a violation by law enforcement.[8]

Ideally, a windshield obstruction summons is issued in lieu of a more serious traffic infraction which would have incurred points and raised insurance costs, such as speeding or running a red light. However, unlike in other states, it can be issued without any other cause or suspicion.[9]

Probably states it's "For off-road use only" therefore bypassing the laws. Same as with aftermarket color bulbs and those old tinted headlight covers from 2005.
