Yeah took mine to toyota for service at 3k they would not change the oil/filter under the free service. BTW they called me to come in since They assumed I would be at 5k miles.

some dealerships are more strict as to when the Toyota care service intervals can be completed.
Each one is logged so it’s not like you can just use them over and over again.
    5k- 10k- 15k- 20k- 25k-
I’ve had numerous customers request to use their services early, which I notate on the customers repair order, I’ve never had any kick back from management or corporate for that matter. Toyota care is included with the purchase of all new Toyota’s so it’s my understanding that you bought it and can use it whenever you request.

Nice tail lights. Are those straight plug and play and would those work on a 2020 tundra

Completely plug and play. Took ten minutes to change out. HiRev sports says they are good for 2020s. I got em right before memorial day. They dropped a 15% discount code on their fb page. I imagine they would do the same for july 4

Is this some kind of running joke on the forums? Lol I swear I’ve been seeing this on posts that are a year+ old at this point.

I bought the Hirevs and really like them so far.

No....I spoke with Morimoto a few weeks ago. They said it will be a June release.. HR has info on them but aren't allowed to release it until Morimoto authorizes them to.

The Hirevs are nice but I wish that they would have done a turn as tail system with the design.

I have a CH 4x4 switch in the same position. It's weird how the switch is recessed, but it may just be that particular switch location. I didn't try it anywhere else.

May have something to do with the rear window switch needing the extra depth. That's where that switch is normally located.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm still pissed that Toyota did away with the rear power window on the SR5's.

I agree with your thinking. I changed mine at 1200 as I missed the 1000 mark. In the past I have changed at 500 miles on other new vehicles. I just change my little 2016 M235 at only 2000 miles as the one year time elapse occurred. Changing oil is cheap compared to the alternative. If towing, it’s considered heavy usage and it’s a different maintenance schedule.
I used to do my own maintenance on my motorcycles, it seemed like I was always changing oil or brake fluid.
