Put mine on today. You can see the silver part of the rim near the tire. I didn’t want to get much closer so they don’t get messed up when I air down or get new tires. I’m happy with them.

 

Is it easy to tell they are multi piece or vinyled or just like a shiny factory black wheel. Think I'd like to do this to my wheels.

 

From 3 feet away, hard to tell. But you can see the silver edge, it’s visible from the other angles, I’m sure I could’ve you got a little tighter. I like the look of the black wheels though. Fairly inexpensive so I won’t be that heartbroken if I mess them up. I thought about plasti dip... but I really hate painting. Someday I’ll either powder coat these or get new aftermarket wheels.

 

Nice, I wrapped my camper top and people don't notice unless I point out out. I may have to find these. Thanks.

 

Just did mine a few weeks ago. Was much easier then I expected. I just mixed dish soap with water in a spray bottle and it worked really well

 

Anyone know where I can get a set of these decals?

Got a set from TVD vinyl (emailed them), they have been on my wheels for a little over a year now and holding up well.

 

Does anyone have any left over pieces? Just need one of each.

 

I’m actually going to sell the set I just bought from another member, if anyone is interested.
Work bonus allows me to buy some new wheels instead and getting the spacers out sounds like a plus also.

 

has anyone done matte black vinyl over the stock black trying to decide if I want to go that route or not.

 

The white truck above may be matte. I think they were only available that way. I bought a set from another member that are matte. I've not had time to put them on and was contemplating remaking them in gloss.

 

Anyone in the DFW area that could install for some not much wrap shops install on wheels here and i ain't to good at this kind of install

 

Reviving an old thread. How have the Decals been holding up and are you still happy with them?

 

Still going strong. No issues whatsoever. I have had my wheels rotated regularly but still with my original tire set. Wheels still look great. 5 Maine winters, pressure wash, snow, Ice, mud, you name it…

I have had the decals and the installation kit for over a year and still haven't done this......I need to get around to it. And install my seat heaters

 

I would do this again before shelling out the big cash for new wheels.

 

How about cleaning brake dust off? I have EBC yellow and they make my rims filthy. Can I use a brush on the vinyl?

 

I went "old school" with my center caps.

I recently did this as well and used the matte black. Used rapidtac and the wife and I installed in about 1.5 hours. I like it a lot and as others have said can’t tell they’re not solid black unless up close.

 

Right on! I have been watching these for years. Just got a set of matte and gloss to figure out what works for my wheels in their current condition. Thanks for sharing news of the sale @Ruggybuggy

 

Have mine sitting in the garage. Haven’t found the time or will power to install haha.

 

I bet gloss will match the rest of the wheel better. I have matte and you can tell in the sunlight there’s a slight difference.
