Good to hear, I'll have to put in some seat time at the stealer when the time comes.

Damn! Be careful, with all that product you might be using up your payload rating!

No kidding! I have to wash one side at a time or it dries out before I can get it rinsed.

Sorry, I missed earlier you said you were in Sherwood. She grew up in Tualatin just south of FM and the neighborhood looks the same.

This is the method I used today to get the parts the machine missed. Actually worked pretty good. Would be a huge PITA if I was trying to use my foam cannon.
Oh nice. I’m heading that way tomorrow. Have to get my sons haircut. Might check out that Dave’s Hot Chicken...as long as the line goes down. Could get something tasty from New Seasons...but I don’t think I want to deal with that crowd tomorrow.

    Wanna wash mine too?
I use Chemical guys products also. Have you tried any other detail products from other companies? Curious how the Chemical Guy products compare. I know there’s a detail thread but since you put these in public view figured I’d ask…

Ok. I can see this is going to get out of hand. My usual deal is..you pay me...and help dry/remove product and we can talk about it.
This is a buddy of mines M3 we did that way. We almost thought about doing a mobile detail at that time. But I couldn’t dedicate the time after work to do it.

Edit: might be drinks...but that doesn’t look like a Calvary Blue CM

I haven’t tried anybody else’s. Back when I worked at Honda we used Auto Magic. But that was 97-00 time frame.

A lot of those detail guys in that thread have way more experience then me. I just used the chemical guys flow chart and my time with a buffer in the past to get me through it.

Yay, heard from my new supervisor that there was no intention for our team to go back and that our org only has ~15 desks for 50+ employees and since we don't need to physically exist there, didn't push for it.

Just bought the 38 gallon tank in anticipation to go back but I'll take it. Happy wife, happy no-commute!

    That’s pretty awesome.

I’m wondering how long all this “work remote permanently” will last. At least where I work, it will be difficult to get exposure to other teams and jobs. It makes networking difficult too. So much is done as you pass someone in the hallway and stop to chat for a few minutes.

I’m pretty thankful we were able to keep most of our group in the office through this whole thing. The few that did work remote didn’t do it long or only did it partial weeks because they all found they preferred the environment and the networking in the office.

The slog of a 3 hour round-trip commute really starts to get to you... But sharing an office with my 3rd grader was not any better. I'm looking forward to quiet days working from home when my son goes back to school in the Fall.

I do enjoy the office but I'd rather it be on my schedule or choice than by decree or demand. I may go into the office once a month or so once it opens back up.

If my internet options weren’t shit, and i wasn’t upper management (requiring a lot of “touch time”), i think i could get used to it. But the first issue makes it impossible.
