I had that exact situation happen except with southern comfort. Dude accidentally bought us 2 5ths instead of 2 pints and my buddy said fuuuuck iiiiit. So we got completely trashed the night before our final in, you guessed it, radar school. That's the night I ran from the cops who weren't chasing me.

grandpas old tundra vs new tacoma.
the same length and weight, but hes got more interior room (less head room) but ive got more bed. The tech freaks him out a little, but he appreciates the tighter turning and fancy 6 speed with engine braking. I like that he has lots of airbags because drivers in houston are total garbage.

yes that bright purple sky is the awfulness that moved me to the sticks. I like looking at stars.

I just can’t like the new tacomas enough to own one. The 3.5 is a great engine.

for a car. The 4.0 needed the dual vvti and direct injection treatment. That low end torque compared to the 3.5 was so
    Much better for a truck.

Got my eye on a 1st gen 4x4 TRD AC that's been sitting in the same spot for months. Parked in the back forty of this abandoned business I pass on my way to work.

Need to somehow locate the owner and see if it's for sale.

I would say what I have is as big as I’d go with this tundra. 23 foot box, 27 foot long. 4700-4900 lbs loaded depending on water or not.

I’ve towed heavier, not with the huge trailer profile though.

I would say if your planning on towing a skid steer a larger truck is a good idea. They typically weigh between 5k and 8k lbs, then add in your trailer.

Best I can tell, it's chapsnat all over again with a new name.
    Which was extended-cut Vine.

I don't use it and didn't use vine which it sounds similar to. My hypothesis is that pointless short video clips are not good for the brain.

And Zuckerberg. My wife and I will randomly yell "fuck you, Zuckerberg" while sitting in our home, assuming all of our electronics are listening to us at any given moment. Particularly when an advertisement shows up on our phones for something we were verbally discussing the day prior

The problem with blaming Cuckerberg for TikTok is that ol' Mr Robot-O never had an original idea in his life. He's made a career out of monetizing other peoples' IP...and publishing under the guise of a public forum.

I am a fan of not allowing those things in my house. Privacy matters. Figuring out what products they can talk you into buying is only a small part of what they hope to do.

I don't think that far into the guy, and could give two shits about tiktok. I just tell him to fuck off and make peace with it.

I had an old coworker who told me a great story over beers. Back in the NSA collecting phone records days, he would send a dick pic to himself once a month in hopes that some sorry sap collecting data behind a computer had to look at his pathetic manhood.

Privacy certainly does matter, but I do find it comical when a large majority of the US population complains about this very topic, yet uses facial recognition or finger print scanners to unlock their phone a billion times a day...

I have not "needed" a new phone for about a decade. They just build them to break. An everyday item made of glass. Do you guys remember the old Nokia phones that you could throw out the window of a moving car and loose 0 functionality. I hope there is a user repairable phone that runs Linux and docker that comes out in the next year or so. My non user replaceable battery is 3 years old at this point.

My iPhone 8+ is going on 4 as of the writing of this post.
Every day I get a little closer to just going back to a flip phone.
I use a computer for the strong majority of my forum perusing. But I do use Instagram and Slack for socializing as well as my phone camera to document my Tundra and 911 builds/maintenance.
