Anyone know? Looking to sell my old insert but had to cut the little clips on the bottom to remove it from the bulge. I know it’s attached to the lower bulge by four screws on the sides so I figure it will be fine but just wanted to check before I sold it. Thanks guys.

I would just post the sale and point out the defects so the buyer is aware.

You are going to get varied responses from people that may not even be interested buyers here.

Thanks for the reply! I’ve got someone ready to buy and did point it out. Just don’t want to over promise by saying it will and under deliver if it doesn’t. I imagine it would be fine but hoping to get some peace of mind

Do you still have the little clips that broke off? I had 2 tabs that snapped off on each end of my hood buldge. Luckily I kept them and just this weekend used some JB Weld to glue them back on, man is that stuff strong. I let it set up for over an hour, and it is rock solid. It says it holds up to like 2035 lbs of pressure.

Yeah so it is the little black plastic clips on the bottom of the grille, not the bulge. I had to cut them to remove and swap to the Pro grille but someone is interested in my OEM honeycomb grille. Curious if without those little black clips would cause it not to have a good fit on the bottom.

I broke a couple of mine and there was no problem. Don’t know if that’s the case if they’re all broken, but I think it should be fine. Worst case they can figure something out to make it more secure.

Thanks man, that’s what I’m thinking too, with the four screws on the sides it should be okay and the bulge clip male piece will still be in the grille just not “clipped” per say but still secure
