I have to ask...how do you know it was a guy driving the Porsche? It seems whenever I see someone get into a car parked like that...it is not a guy.

As soon as i get to home territory, im getting the cart guys to help me get a pic of my truck, maybe motorcycle, taking up as many spots as possible surrounded by a 2 tier shopping cart castle.

bonus points if i cover the crippled spots.

I hate people that do not return carts. One time at Kroger there was no vehicle in front of me so I decided to pull straight through. Someone left one of the mini carts right in front of my truck. Normally I would have just pushed it across the parking lot but there was a curb and a median. I ended up crunching the cart. No real damage to the truck but the cart was totalled. Both are wrong. I went to the hardware store last week and every time I saw a parking spot there was some idiot parked catty wambus.

This is the second shopping cart thread in a month or so. I’m getting concerned that shopping cart threads will start gaining popularity over MPG threads. :D

Maybe there was another car parked in the space next to the Porsche. Guy comes out, can barely get in his car and get out of the space because the Porsche is parked right up against him. Guy leaves his cart right up against the Porsche in retaliation.

I always put my cart in the corral, unless the store checks my receipt at the door. They’ve then used the time I have allotted for cart returning to treat me like a thief. In that situation, I will put my cart in the most inconvenient spot possible.

Store security is a scare tactic in most cases. Unless they actually see steal/conceal something, the 70y old greeter/checker can't stop you or question what you bought, at least from what I know in Canada. Not to mention, until you are off their premises, you haven't stolen anything yet, they need to detain you outside.

Just keep on walking...."Can we see your receipt sir? Nope!". Costco is the exception for me, as it is in their membership contract when I signed up. They argue it's to protect you and make sure you weren't overcharged, but I'm OK with that one.

    Sorry for the derail.

As for the A-Holes in the pic....both, no questions asked, no reason whatsoever would justify either of those to be ok.

If I were an A-hole Porsche owner who cared about not getting my doors dinged, I certainly would have parked over more than just the driver's rear into the adjacent parking spot. Looks like just a rushed/bad parking job to me. Now, the cart is a different story...

Agreed, along with Costco being the exception since we agree to it. I always keep walking everywhere else. The stuff belongs to me, so they have no right to search it. I’ve never had them follow me or anything.

Look if you take the picture at face value then the cart guy needs his face remodeled.
Why?, because if you look at the Porsche, there is no other car there for quite a long way.
The way he parked shows he was in a hurry because if you wanted to protect that car you would of taken up two spaces for sure.
Again, no one anywhere near those parking spaces.
Soo, this is either a staged event or the person who left the cart there is a certified dick head.

I take more exception to the Taycan than the Macan, personally.
That's likely rooted in my deep, deep hatred of electric vehicles tho.

I still vote the cart-abandon-er is a bigger a-hole than the poor parker.

Steph Curry of Warriors fame drives a four door.
I've seen him in one driving around the bay area.
It's a really nice rig and I believe the most functional of their cars.
