Anyone running the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift (Stage 1)?

I came across an old thread with minimal info on the Eibach Stage 1 lift. https://www.tundras.com/threads/eibach-pro-truck-stage-1-kit.11468/

I'm curious if anyone is using this "lift" (leveling kit with increased spring rate)? I'm looking to level my 2018 CM and make it a little more off-road capable.

Curious about this as well.

Looking at either installing 5100's all around with stock springs set in the middle or this. Would also add a Toyotech shackle in the rear set at 1".

That is a good price on the 5100's. Are you looking to do the shackle to keep some rake in the stance and not have it sit level?

Sure would be nice to hear from someone who has the Eibach setup.

 

I need a little rake since I tow frequently. I will probably still add airbags in the rear since I tow a wake boat, but don't want to make it a necessity for towing anything else.

I would really love to hear from someone who has run both lol! I want whichever one rides smoother on the road since I don't get off the pavement much at all.

 

This kit is honestly very awesome.... We have a good hand full of people on this forum that run this kit.

The front coilovers can be adjusted or "pre set" on the bottom clip setting to yield 2'' of front end lift. Coilovers can be found Or if you are looking for a 3'' front lift, we adjust or "pre set" them on the 2nd clip setting to yield 3'' of front end lift, and with that you have a choice of rear lift options that fit your needs perfectly.

Thanks David. When I go to the complete kit, it shows both front and rear options are backordered. What kind of timeframe do you think it will be before you get anymore?

 

As of right now its the end of February but that may change as we get closer to that "expected date".

I had the eibach coil springs installed with the Bilstein 5100 up front and the 5160’s with a 1 inch shackle lift in the back. The coils along with the 5100 set at .87 got me close to 3inches in the front. My truck has a slight rake and rides really nice. This set up is definitely a nice upgrade over my stock set up. I have enough clearance to run a 35 in the near future as well.

Nice! By shims, do you mean you left the front at 2" setting and added 1/2" shims on both sides?

 

I have the Eibach stage 1 set at the top setting with a 1 inch shackle in the rear. Been happy with it so far though I have heard ride quality may increase if I adjust them down and add shims.

 

Good lookin' truck. Newb question here, but why would you have Eibach 5160's AND shackles on the rear? Does that give you extra height above and beyond what the 5160's give you?

 

The Eibach rear shocks don’t actually give you any lift. They are advertised as 1” lift rear shocks because that’s what they allow for - up to 1 inch of lift with shackles or a block.

 

Got it. So, the Eiback shocks give you better off road capabilities than stock shocks, but they don't give you more height, so you put the shackles on to give you height + better off road suspension? If you're doing some mild off roading and want this exact stance, would you go with the Eibach's or would you just go with a leveling kit? Sorry....not trying to hijack the thread. Just trying to figure out how I make my truck look like that, but still maintain optimum onroad performance and comfort.

 

A spacer leveling kit is going to be the cheap option, but will put stress on front end components and hurt the ride quality. An Eibach kit (or one like it) would give you front end lift, some even say better than stock ride quality (it’s subjective), and better geometry for your front end components.

Your truck probably has about 2” of forward lean or “rake”. If you tow you’ll want to maintain some rake to keep the ass of your truck from sagging horribly when hitched/loaded. So of you raise the front you can add shackles to the rear to get the forward lean back.

Correct, coilovers are on the top setting (I got about 3”) and 1/2” Coachbuilder shims on top.

 

Shocks = ride quality, shackles = lift. The Bilstein 5160s are a stiffer shock than stock, so they don’t bounce/sag as much, but do not provide any lift (maybe .25” inch if any) - the shackles provide the 1.5” rear lift.

 

Do you need aftermarket UCAs with the complete lift from toytec? Their other 3in lifts strongly suggest them, understandably, but not this one. Why is that?

 

I am running the Pro Kit on the highest setting. Have 1 inch rear shackles and still have a slight reverse rake. She is going in for UCA’s in two weeks to help with ride and alignment.
