Just ordered fuel vapor rims for my truck. They have a cap over lugs and I am having trouble finding lugs that would fit good with them. I know they have to be open end and conical but I also need a lug nut with a lock pack because the rims are 1600 and I don’t want them to get stolen.

I would probably contact Fuel to confirm. My best guess is go with acorn, most aftermarket aluminum wheels use acorn lugs.

Why do they need to be open? I have never seen a locking open lug nut but looks like they can be had in spline drive. Our trucks have very short studs on the front of the truck so there doesn't seem to be a need for open nuts, unless you are running spacers.

Since the fuels have hub caps most closed lug nuts do not let the cap fit on properly.

I've got a set of fuel vapor 20" rims coming up for sale shortly. Did you order the rims online? I got mine thru my local shop, and not only saved some cash, but they gave me the appropriate set of lugs (w/ lock lug and tool). Anyways, any of your local wheel dealers ought to have a set on hand.

Thats way too steep. Shouldn't be more than $30 per wheel and tire and a disposal fee if it applies.

I brought my own wheel and tire to Discount/ America's Tire and it was $21 out the door for mount, balance, and valve stem (no TPMS).
