Funny but I’d still rather wipe off sweat than blood.

I am about to put in a toyota parts order. Are there any small maintenance items I should should have on hand? I have oil filters and transmission and engine oil plug gaskets.

I had not really thought about this. Was the story on these that they thought they protected them from the plague when they collected the bodies?

Yes, the thought at the time was that the disease was caused by foul odors, and that the herbs and flowers stuffed into the mask filtered out the disease causing odors. No accurate account of plague doctor (few were actual doctors, most were volunteers, medical students, or simply people that wanted the job) deaths, but they don't seem to have fared any better than the general population.

This is one of those redundant questions like "is the Pope Catholic" or "is water wet right"?

I occasionally consider putting a T150 badge on my truck for fun. It would be even sweeter once I buy a Lexus LS.

In fact we should just start calling first gens T150 instead of Tundra.

Get the Pontiac G8 thing. More doors, bigger arches, less weird looking.

The very thought that you don't return your cart to the corral, if not the store, upsets me to my very core. (regardless of the source of the cart you use to shop with)
I have always considered you to be a man of principle.
    Very disconcerting.
    Very.

I despise the entire notion that cars/trucks/boats/vehicles are named/gendered.
If anything, cancel culture should have canceled the assumption of gender of vehicles.

The part about 'we are all after the same thing: Truth' is where you've gone off track. People like to be scared. They feel it gives them the authority to tell others how to live/behave/die/etc. If we're in danger, someone gets to be in charge. Someone gets to be more important than they were when things were 'safe'. Willful ignorance has never been more in fashion than the last 18 months.

    Water is not wet.
Things with water on them are wet.

But does it help if you know I prop the front wheels of the cart up on the Curb Mulch so it doesn’t blow around? Cart Fetcher gotta eat, too.

I’ll work on repentance. One of my first mods here was removing the years of big box orange shmears from years of hits there. Got a few dinks from Chevy and Ford haters. Thats why I started parking way out there. The Island hill rolls down from the outskirts and if there is a domestic truck I’ll aim it in the general direction.

Just had the itch to look for a late gen F250 diesel….I’m annoyed that I cannot pull a decent size TT as well as having to borrow a friends truck for a skid steer/trailer rental. I just wanna be overkill and be done with it.

I've actually never had the flu, and have only had 1 shot for it back when I was in the navy.

Do you mean pull a good size trailer like you are not pulling a trailer? @shoe07 has put more miles on his 04 than a lot of us. His trailer is large. Also, round trailers pull better.

Ha ha - you're so gullible. Just because it has 'news' in the URL, doesn't mean that it actually publishes facts.

Amazing how many people here questions doctors with years of schooling and experience because they did a 5 second search on the internet or read something on facebook. Maybe listening to a movement started by a playboy bunny isn't the best idea.

Amazing that people believe that more than 50% of people have had coronavirus but somehow did not test positive.

Wanna buy a nice bridge while we're here?

Had an old Ford with the 7.3 turbo. Great power, would tow a house and get 17MPG. 39 Gal tank - would take 2 mins to fill at a truck stop.

Everything was expensive on it though. Oil - 5 gal plus filter, I think another 5 gallons of coolant + additive. Water pump was $700. Eng mgmt computer was another 4 or so. Always had spare fuel filters (tons of places have crap in their diesel tanks).

I know the few generations of diesels after these had to be low sulfur, which led to a whole 'nother set of problems. I think most manufacturers have worked them out, but maintenance on them is still costly.

I got rid of it as it was just too expensive to drive as a commuting truck. But if you tow a lot, they last forever. The one here in the Northeast will tow/haul/plow until the bodies rust off.

All of them. They ran us down a line and shots on both sides by multiple techs. Then one in the left ass cheek. That one hurt for a while.
