First post here and I'm liking what I've been reading. So to hopefully get some help for my very non knowledgeable self (and hopefully don't ruffle to many feathers) I have a 2019 CM SR5 4x4 with bilstein 5100 struts that I have set In the middle which gives me 2.25" I think it was. I'm looking looking buy new rims and tires when mine are due to be replaced. Right now I really like the Fuel Rebel 5. In the 20" size it comes in a 1 and 20 offset. Id like to have just a slight bit of tire sticking out from fender. It appears from research a 295/60-20 would be the size i would be best to go with. What about the wheel offset. Positive 20 sure seems it would put the tire fairly well inside the fender.

Stock rims are +60 so +20 is going to stick it out farther. I would stick to wheels in the +20 to +25 range, going down to 0 or 1 can cause rubbing issues and they will stick way out throwing rocks, dirt, mud all down the side of the truck.

295/55/20. I’m at 2” and had minor rubbing that was easily fixed with a heat gun and reshaping the plastics. A 295/60 will be close, but you’re most likely going to need to do a bit more trimming.

Well 295/55 might be what I need to look into. Your truck has exactly what I'm looking for

Go here: Check this out. I just mounted 305 70 17 on a +25 offset. Had about 2.25 front lift before I did it. Had to push plastic with a heat gun and remove all mud flaps up front. Comparing the 2 sizes I think you'll be fine.
I had to use a CB shim with the middle setting to get 2.25 FYI.

Nope. Lol. It still rubs a little in reverse but not enough to bother me.

295/60/20. +20 offset. No trim. No spacers. You will need good alignment and pay attention to caster. 20210218_164336.jpg

20x9 +20 offset, 295/55/20 on stock suspension. No lift or level, so you can probably go with the 295/60/20 or bigger with no problem. Had to trim a little plastic and remove mud flaps. My other Tundra had 33x12.5x20’s with a 3/2 level before I did a BMC and went to 35’s, so I’d assume you’ll fall somewhere in between the two.

Both of these look great. Exactly what I am after. Hope the 305 works. I do have the JBA uca's on the way to go with it. Hope that makes up the difference

How much are you lifting? If you’re doing 3” up front, you’ll probably be ok. If you’re doing 2”, like I am at. The 305 will require trimming. No way around it when it would be the same setup and wheel offset as me and I had to wirh a smaller tire. Not a deal breaker either way. Every problem has a solution. The new uca won’t change the suspension height any. But it will allow for more positive caster, which will get you away from the body mount but put the tire more into the bumper. That’s easily remedied by shimming the bumper

Riddle me this then.....and I am just asking, trying to learn, as this is the 1st truck I have lifted on my own..... If 305 is the width, what would more lift accomplish

The wider the tire the more stuff it bumps into when you turn the wheel. The higher the truck the less stuff to bump into.

    Stock, for now
I went with +1 fuel avengers. The difference between +20 and +1 is just 19 mm, more or less 3/4”. Divided by 2, its 3/8 on each side. With 275/55-20 tires sits 2” proud of the rear fender.
My next tire will be 295/55-20 which is 3/4” wider than stock, again divided by 2, thats 3/8” on each side. My guess is that at the end they will be sticking out 2 3/8” off the fender. This set up is only good for non - off road truck.

i went with fuel tech +1,, gun metal, with gun metal center cap, with Bilstein 6112 high seting and 5100.. had 295-55-20, really didnt like how it looked on my truck for some reason. went down to 275-60-20 ko.. thanks Americas Tires for letting me exchange my tire with no cost, and a refund. next set will be either 285-60-20 or the 295-60-20.

Did they possibly list the center cap part number on your receipt? I’m on a mission to find replacement caps since I lost one of mine. (Different brand) the wheel sites either don’t show part number and/or don’t show the backside of the caps for me to tell if they will work or not.

Update on my truck...... Was changing oil and rotating tires. The new set were sitting in the corner waiting on the falkons. Couldn't help myself and had to try. They fit...... 305/55 R20 with +20 offset. Stock suspension. I removed front mud flap and at absolute full lock backing up I have a little rub.
Now I don't know what to do about lift because the tires fill the wells perfect now and I don't want it to look dumb with a lift........ Real life problems.
